This review is strictly for the DJ who was spinning tonight, Myles, vibes were dead walked into a nearly empty lounge but he brought the space to life with good music and energy. We need more of that.
Great vibes at soho house Toronto! And good food. Great location. Rooftop was closed even though it’s a lovely day - back next time!
Food is mid have ordered everything here and it’s unimpressive especially for the price and the damn attitude servers have, gnocchi is the best pasta, the branzino is good but still kinda mid they need to revamp their menu, Brussel sprouts are good, calamari is nice on the safe side, I like the burrata salad but it’s straight up something you can make at home pear arugula burrata and balsamic vinegar not impressive at all, wine selection is fairly nice, overall service upstairs needs improvement always feels like a pain when you’re trying to order for some reason from some servers I don’t want to name and they always got some type of attitude like we don’t pay for a membership… makes me not want to eat here, just want to mention the way they just run off without caring about you is ridiculous… don’t pay attention to you as you sit down, asked to move to another table and said they had a few parties coming in, spent over 2 hours eating here with my group and no one came in…. Disappointed at the service. Downstairs I’ve had way better experiences but upstairs every time is just unbearable, go somewhere else if you want good service, good food..
I was treated by my niece to experience the food at SoHo and the food was superb. The chef that evening from the upcoming Kusi restaurant nailed some of the filipino vibes in his dishes. Did not disappoint. The deserts were phenomenal as well. My favourite was the mango float.
