We’re here to celebrate my sister’s bday today, Wil A. was our server, he’s very attentive and friendly! We had a gift card and he was patient to walk us through it. Food was served fast, and the runners were kind as well. Lastly, they offered a delicious ice cream cake. Will come back for the service!
Came here for a birthday dinner and had a great experience overall, much better than my visit to the King Street location a few days prior, where the food came out cold. Here, everything arrived warm and well-prepared. Our server Renee was excellent, attentive, professional, and on top of everything throughout the meal. The greeters were equally welcoming and accommodated our booth request without any hassle. When I asked the greeter who seated us to take some photos, she was happy to help, which was a nice touch for a birthday occasion. The complimentary ice cream cake was a great surprise and much appreciated. Washrooms were clean as well, which always matters. The only thing worth mentioning is the noise level. Some guests were incredibly loud, the kind where you feel like you’re sitting next to a theme park ride rather than a dinner table. That said, it has nothing to do with the staff or the restaurant itself, so it doesn’t take away from the 5 stars. Everything within their control was handled really well. Would definitely return.
It was actually my first time visiting The Keg Steakhouse. I usually go to all-you-can-eat steakhouses, so I always wondered why people would pay for just a single steak. I really enjoyed the service. Our server was very polite, and I also liked how the chef personally brought out the dishes. The nachos with beef on top were amazing — the toppings matched perfectly, and the portion size was great for 2–3 people. Their pitcher of sangria also tasted really good and came in a generous portion. However, I was disappointed with the steak. I ordered the prime rib, and it had a lot of fat on the sides. Maybe because of that, it didn’t taste as good as people usually say about this restaurant. I’ve honestly never seen a steak with that much fat before. I asked for medium rare, it leaned more toward rare, it was juicy enough tho. Maybe their other steak options are better, but if I had known, I probably wouldn’t have ordered the prime rib.
I visited Keg Restaurant for lunch with a friend and had a wonderful experience. Our food arrived very quickly within about 10 minutes which was impressive. We ordered a few appetizers, including the tartare, and also tried the grilled seafood. Everything was incredibly fresh and very tasty. I also had a cocktail that was perfectly made and complemented the meal nicely. The atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful and very welcoming. Overall, it was a lovely lunch, and I truly enjoyed my time there. I would definitely come back again.
I managed to get a a reservation for Valentine's Day, and we had the same waiter as last time probably one of the best waiters ever gave us top notch service and my daughter was smiling at him as well. I ordered the calamari appetizer delicious as always, crispy and tender on the inside. I ordered the 18 oz prime rib with mash potatoes , with the red wine jus and fried onions and horseradish. The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and massive and the waiter who served us before recognized us and even gave us a free billy miner pie as it was me and wife's anniversary. The horseradish is strong eat with caution but the prime rib was fantastic really heavy I don't think I have to eat for a week honestly. Keg always been a staple and consistent
