Nina's Brunch Restaurant

Nina’s is my absolute favorite brunch spot in Toronto, and I find myself coming back here all the time. I always order the full vegan breakfast. The plate comes stacked with crispy home fries, baked beans, toast, mushrooms, avocado, and a super savory plant based sausage. It is incredibly filling, the ingredients are always fresh, and the vibe inside is consistently chill. It is my ultimate go to spot to fuel up for the day.
What a fantastic brunch at Nina's! We were staying in Old Toronto and decided to take a walk to Kensington. Kensington Market area overall was not quite what we were expecting; however, it was worth the visit for Nina's alone! Wow! The food, service, and atmosphere were incredible - even on a sweltering rainy day. I enjoyed a coffee and the Full Irish breakfast while my wife had the Guinness beef Benedict. Both meals were absolutely delicious. The soda bread is out of this world. I finished everything my plate as did my wife. Take a trip out of the way here!
I got the Avocado and Tomato Benedict, and it was absolutely delicious. Service was great and fast considering the place was packed, and prices were reasonable. Only thing was that the potatoes were unevenly seasoned, but otherwise my food tasted well-balanced.
Lovely brunch spot right in the middle of Kensington Market. Service was very nice from start to finish, and the host was especially kind and helpful. We got a table outside on a Saturday around lunch time, and luckily arrived before noon because it started getting really busy around 12:30 and all the tables were taken. The dishes were delicious. We tried the Beef & Guinness Stew Benedict and the Smoked Salmon Benedict, both were excellent. The mango and jalapeño sauce was a nice touch — sweet, flavorful, and not too spicy. Each dish also comes with potatoes and salad included. They also have other brunch options like breakfast sandwiches and full breakfast plates. Overall, a very nice, relaxed brunch spot with great food and a good atmosphere.
Honestly, one of the best brunches I’ve ever had! We enjoyed the strawberry rhubarb custard pancakes, chicken and waffles, soda bread, and We the North (pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs w/ cheese and potato). The food was delicious and presented beautifully. The staff were also super friendly. I highly recommend and definitely will be returning.
