We discovered Masaki Sushi by chance while walking through Niagara-on-the-Lake, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. My husband is the son of Japanese parents, and as soon as we saw the Japanese signs, we knew we had to stop. From the moment we walked in, everything felt authentic—the atmosphere, the kindness of the staff, and the attention to every detail. We’ve traveled to Japan several times and have enjoyed Japanese food in many places around the world. Masaki served some of the most authentic Japanese cuisine we’ve ever had outside of Japan. Every dish was fresh, beautifully prepared, and true to traditional Japanese flavors, without trying to reinvent them. We loved it so much that during our three days in Niagara-on-the-Lake, we came back four times. That probably says it all. We highly recommend Masaki Sushi and can’t wait to return.
Clean and beautiful place. Staff are excellent and the manager came over to check on us. Oysters are clean and delicious! Highly recommended for a higher class sushi experience in Niagara!
Everything tasted fresh and high quality. They have a very large selection of sake. We ordered the premium sushi and sashimi set which was very good and generously filling.
This was our last dinner in the area and it was the best tasting. It had good flavor and fresh ingredients. Our server was very attentive. The place has a great atmosphere. You can carry on a conversation without having to yell. Our food came to the table timely but not rushed. It is a very comfortable place to sit and have dinner.
Always a beautiful experience. The sashimi is fresh and well prepared. The Aburi is always exceptional. The rolls are generous, fresh and well presented. The food is always top notch. The service is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The restaurant is clean and you can watch the chefs work. The sake menu is expansive and delicious. You do pay for this exceptional experience but it’s fully worth it. Highly recommended.
