I visited Cactus Cafe and had a great experience. I ordered the Thai curry chicken along with a Bellini drink, and everything was really good. The food tasted great, the service was fast, and the staff made the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was amazing with good music and a nice vibe. Overall, a great place to relax, eat, and enjoy. I would definitely recommend it! They have free parking
We came in for an impromptu lunch today to celebrate a very special milestone — being cancer free — with my sister and our close family friend visiting from England. Even though we didn’t have a reservation and it was a very busy dinner service, the team went above and beyond to accommodate us, and we’re so grateful they did. Our server, Sophie, was absolutely wonderful. She was so kind, warm, and attentive from the moment we arrived. Since it was our first time visiting, she took the time to answer all our questions and even tried to help us get a spot on the balcony/patio since seeing it from the street is actually what drew us in. Her service truly made our experience feel special. We celebrated with cocktails (a Frosé, a Spritz, and a Margarita) and shared starters including the chicken sandwiches, calamari, and crab dip — and wow. Everything was incredible. Fresh, flavourful, beautifully prepared, and honestly some of the best cocktails we’ve had in a long time. The manager (a younger gentleman whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch) was equally amazing. He stopped by to check in on us, chatted with us about the restaurant, explained reservation tips because of how busy they get, gave us recommendations, and genuinely made us feel welcomed and appreciated. The atmosphere itself was fantastic — great music, great energy, and such a fun vibe. But what truly made this experience unforgettable was that the staff surprised me with a dessert to congratulate me on finishing cancer treatment and becoming cancer free. That level of kindness and thoughtfulness meant more than I can put into words. We left feeling celebrated, cared for, and already planning our next visit. Thank you so much to Sophie and the manager for making such an important day even more memorable. We have nothing but amazing things to say and will absolutely be back. We’re already telling everyone they need to come here.
I came to this location for the first time a little while ago and unfortunately didn’t have the greatest experience. It left me unsure about whether I would return, but I decided to give this location a second chance—and I’m so glad I did. This visit was completely different, largely thanks to our server, Karleigh. From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She gave us excellent recommendations, was knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. She consistently checked in on us without being overbearing and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The food was enjoyable, but it was Karleigh’s outstanding hospitality and customer service that truly made this visit memorable. She completely changed our impression of the location and is the reason we’ll be coming back. Employees like her make all the difference.
