Great service, kind folks, quality coffee, great atmosphere. Free filtered water, WiFi and bathrooms in close proximity. Open early than everything else in distillery district. First time traveler to Canada. Hot ginger lemonade was amazing. I also had a hot latter which was also good.
Hidden gem, small shoppe but it’s in a public space in the gorgeous architecture of the Distillery shops and admin offices….hang out at their indoor table in cold, heat, rain or dramatic social media influencers :) This elite patio between cobblestones and overhead brick is where artists work in the corner (Quickbooks on laptops) and people gossip whilst watching other people - look at this view, there is a hat haberdashery across the walk, this is the vibe. Today I had the breakfast sandwich. I asked for their topping recommendation and it had pickles in it and the whole thing came together in a 10/10 💛 Warm nice staff, good prices. Will be back.
The staff were quite rude, which was a bad start. While the toast was good, the croissant was extremely hard and stale, and the coffee was just average. Overall, I probably won't be coming back.
This coffee spot has a very cozy and relaxing atmosphere, almost like a hidden little retreat. There were a few people working on their laptops, and it felt like a comfortable place to spend time. The coffee is on the more acidic side, so it may come down to personal preference. I ordered the smoked salmon toast. It was beautifully presented with plenty of vegetables, but the toppings and sauce were quite tangy, making it hard to taste the salmon itself.
