One of the best beef hot pots I’ve had in Toronto! The soup was rich, aromatic, and packed with flavor without being overly greasy. The meat was tender, the tripe was cooked perfectly, and the portions were satisfying. Don’t skip the fried bread—it pairs so well with the broth. Great comfort food with friendly service. Will definitely be back!
We were here during the World Cup final match and sat in front of the big TV. We ordered the Lamb Bone Pot small which is plenty for 2-3 people. The broth was flavorful, even great for cold weather. We also ordered spicy grilled lamb ribs, crispy and tender at the same time. And dry steamed chicken, a Cantonese dish. Savory chicken with black beans steamed with out water, but the chicken was very tender and juicy.
More befitting of the cold weather, this lamb spine hot pot is just what you need. The soup has a distinct caprine aroma with a milk appearance, balanced white pepper notes, and pronounced umami. The meat is tender with the perfect amount of rendered fat, with generous portions and subtle seasoning. Enjoy the natural flavours of lamb, or dip it in their addictive sesame & chive paste sauce, layering richness and salt that truly elevate the meat. Sweet sausages were good. Also liked the shrimp vermicelli. But it came out warm. Didn’t realize we were supposed to heat up the claypot on the grill. After we heated it up, it tasted better. Would come back to try other stuff.
This was my first time here and I was truly impressed! We ordered the lamb clay pot soup, and the broth was rich, milky, and incredibly flavorful. The lamb was tender and fell right off the bone with no gamey taste at all. The vegetables and noodles soaked up the broth beautifully, making every bite comforting and satisfying. The restaurant was clean and cozy — perfect for a casual meal with friends. The staff were attentive and even helped explain the best way to enjoy the dish. Overall, such a warm and comforting dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!
