I visited this restaurant during the Canada vs. Morocco World Cup 2026 match, so I completely understood that it would be a busy day. I don’t mind crowds or waiting during major sporting events, but I do expect good customer service and food quality regardless of how busy a restaurant is. When we arrived, we were informed that there was a minimum spend of $45 per person. While I understand that restaurants may have special policies during major events, it would have been better if this had been communicated more clearly before we were seated or advertised in advance. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t get off to a great start. As soon as we sat down, one of the staff members loudly called us out because one of our chairs was slightly touching a yellow line that needed to remain clear for people to walk through. We had no issue moving the chair once we understood the reason, but the way it was addressed felt unnecessarily loud and rude. A simple, polite request would have been much more professional and welcoming. The food was also disappointing. I ordered a burger, and it was extremely oily, to the point where it affected the overall taste. The fries seemed like they had been cooked much earlier and reheated instead of being served fresh. They lacked the crispness and flavor you would expect from freshly made fries, which was disappointing considering the prices. I was hoping for a fun atmosphere while watching such a big World Cup match, but the overall experience left a negative impression. Between the customer service, the food quality, and the overall value, it just wasn’t the enjoyable outing I had expected. There are plenty of restaurants that manage busy game days while still providing friendly service and fresh food. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I hope this feedback is taken constructively. With better customer service and more attention to food quality, this place has the potential to offer a much better experience. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I won’t be returning.
Had a really good time there. I wish the ambiance were more little more brighter. The food was amazing. We loved the Shrimp dishes we got. And the sticky toffee pudding is highly recommended too.
The ambience is cozy and inviting — perfect for a relaxing meal or casual night out. The staff are friendly and attentive, making the overall experience even better. Be sure to take advantage of their happy hours — great deals and a fun atmosphere to go with it!
I loved this place. I stopped after work, had the steak frites and it was delicious. Service was great. A bit noisy but I was there alone, I guess others enjoyed the atmosphere... I found prices acceptable.
