The fried frogs were super yummy, and they tasted better than chicken. They're worth the long wait. The decorations of the restaurant is super cool. Service is friendly and efficient.
If you’re looking for a spicy Cheng Du food experience, look no further! This place is sure to satisfy your cravings. Super delicious Chinese food with so many awesome varieties to choose from. The preserved egg, fish spicy sour soup, stir fry beef, and eggplant were especially tasty. Come give it a try!
You want spicy? Come here. If the servers ask if you want it spicy, and you aren’t sure, please say make it mild because oh man. I absolutely love sichuan cuisine, it’s my absolute favourite Chinese cuisine and the dishes offered here are excellent. I’ll start by saying the fried rice could be better, but honestly I would love eating any of their dishes with just a bowl of white rice. As for their dishes like the Zigong Stir Fried Chicken and Sichuan Boiled Beef, these are excellent. The spice factor is exactly what I’ve been looking for and ever since trying this place a couple days ago, I have actively thought about it. The service is friendly here, dishes are prepared quickly, and the atmosphere has this cool underground concrete vibe. If you’ve been looking for Sichuan cuisine in Toronto, or a spot to try in downtown Chinatown, then please check this place out!
Highly recommend this Sichuan restaurant! The flavors are very authentic—I’d say about 90% similar to what you’d find in China. A big thank you to Justin for his warm and attentive service. The dishes he recommended were all excellent—our whole family finished everything! The Mapo Tofu was perfectly numbing and spicy, and the Spicy Crispy Chicken had a generous amount of meat, which was a pleasant surprise.
The food here is 10/10—the flavors are exactly what you'd find in the streets of Chengdu. It's a small, cozy place, so it fills up fast. My advice is to grab a queue number first, then you can go for a stroll around Chinatown or nearby shops while you wait. The wait is absolutely worth it for those bold, spicy flavors!
