Note that you need to fill your bowl to at least 0.4kg for them to take your order (~$20). The selection of food was fresh, although a little limited compared to some other popular malatang places. You can get quite a lot of food for just $20 so it’s definitely worth it. I got the classic spicy broth. The broth was definitely the highlight; it tasted very authentic, although not all that spicy. The spice level is very light compared many other Szechuan restaurants. Overall definitely worth it for the broth and value for your buck.
I absolutely love Zhang Liang Malatang! The ingredients are always super fresh, and they offer a huge variety to choose from. The broth is incredibly flavorful and perfectly spiced. It's my go-to place for a comforting and delicious meal. The environment is clean and the service is great. Highly recommend!
Really enjoyed my experience at Zhang Liang Spicy Hotpot. I love that you can completely customize your bowl by choosing exactly what ingredients you want, from vegetables and noodles to meats and seafood. The self-serve sauce bar was also a nice touch, allowing you to create your own dipping sauce to match your preferences. Overall, it’s a great spot for a satisfying and customizable meal, whether you’re dining alone or with friends. I’ll definitely be back to try different ingredient combinations next time.
I had a great experience at Zhang Liang Malatang today! The ingredients were fresh, the soup base was rich and flavorful, and everything tasted amazing. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Definitely one of my favorite places for malatang in Toronto. I’ll definitely come back again!
The malatang here is really good! The broth is flavorful and you can customize everything just the way you like. One of the best parts is the sauce bar there are so many options, and it makes the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend if you like spicy food!🥰
