Absolutely fantastic Italian restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and authentic. The food was outstanding — everything was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully prepared. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauces were delicious, and every dish tasted like it was made with real care. The service was equally impressive — attentive, friendly, and professional without being overbearing. You can tell the restaurant takes a lot of pride in both its food and its guests. Overall, this is the kind of Italian restaurant you leave already thinking about when you can come back. Highly recommended for a great dinner, a date night, or a special occasion. We’ll definitely be back!!!
Overall it was a good experience. The venue was neat, clean and cozy, perfect for date nights. We got the bread platter as all proceeds go to charity, the Pappardelle, chicken Parm and Tiramisu. I was quite surprised when then chicken parm was just a big platter of meat with no spaghetti but that’s probably me not having read the menu properly. The food was delicious but no more than other Italian places in the area. You are looking to spend an avg of $45-$50 per person without alcohol.
Had a wonderful dinner here with my family. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The rack of lamb was easily one of the best I've had in years, and the gnocchi, lobster pasta, and veal scallopini were all outstanding as well. The attention to detail throughout the meal, from the appetizers to dessert, made the experience feel special. While it's not an everyday spot, the quality of the food and overall experience make it well worth it. Looking forward to coming back.
I don't often go to super upscale fine-dining restaurants unless if it's a special occassion and the quality of the food and service is superb and authentic enough to justify paying +$60 per person. This establishment unfortunately did not achieve that criteria. We came as a group for our friend's birthday party. Initial impression and service was decent. We quickly realized though that the Calamari and Bruschetta we ordered as starters(antipasta) were premium priced and the quantity was laughably miniscule compared to other better well known resturants in Little Italy I've been to. The only good thing I liked was the calamari tasted fresh and had a nice bbq'ed flavor to it. My main dish Shrimp Tagliatelle (~$40), pictured, tasted just okay to pass as a decent dinner, with a few pieces of tiger shrimps, nothing too special, I've had better for ~$25 from old school Italian restaurants. I didn't order drinks but my friends mentioned the drinks were overpriced for what they were as well. The server was decent tbh, no complains for him. The tiramisu they brought for my friend's brithday felt freshly made as well. Now, this is where I would have given the establishment 3-4 stars and called it a day. But the final nail in the coffin came when we were all done with the payments and about to leave that the owner/manager comes to us and speaks to us all in a condescending tone about being disappointed that some of us tipped below the minimum accepted rate of 18% and started demanding repeatedly to go to the counter to pay more. While it does make sense to pay them atleast the minimum, the way that the staff addressed this in a demeaning manner was pretty disrespectful and unprofessional (I personally tipped 18perc, making my total bill around $70). I wish the staff could have addressed the issue more professionally, politely, and focused more on the root cause of the customers tipping less, aka recording personal feedback from the customer on how to further improve their service and food. This is how professional restaurants deal with these issues with respect, and that's what retains customers. Coming from a culture that deeply values hospitality for guests, and someone who admires Italian culture for theri similar sense of old-fashioned hospitality, I hope the resturant takes it as constructive feedback to work on this aspect.
