Rodney’s Rodney’s Rodney’s!!! My first time at this restaurant was extremely pleasant. The ocean/sea themed decor was captivating. The wait staff was very attentive to our requests, and explained the details of each oyster we ordered. I would describe Rodney’s as a “seafood experience” as opposed just a restaurant. I appreciated the wide array of sauces that were presented alongside our oysters. For our mains, we had the Shrimp Okonomiyaki, and the Crab cake with the best coleslaw and broccoli I have ever had. Every bite taken was followed with a “wow” said my friend and I. Toronto has great food spots but it’s not very often that a restaurants leaves you wanting more. I’ll definitely be back to try out other things in the menu!
I’m always stunned when I come here. My brother and I have trips around and in Toronto and this is a MUST visit. We visited last year around this time and had to come back after a great visit. A year later, it still holds true as an excellent establishment. We came here during happy hour this time and had Charlotte as our server. She was WONDERFUL! Incredibly sweet and attentive, she had recommendations for oysters which was so nice (she also wrote down what our favorites were after we did a few dozen to find our top rated ones). As we did for both our visits: we got the big Crab which was so, so yummy. It was recommended to us by the server we had last time, and again it was great again this time. The fried clams, clam chowder and Rodney’s Caesar drink were all delicious. This is a great place for seafood and eats- would greatly recommend
Came to Rodney’s Oyster House in Toronto for happy hour and WOW… so worth it. We grabbed seats at the bar and got to hang out with Nick while he was shucking the oysters, which honestly made the whole experience even better. Super chill, friendly, and you can tell he knows what he’s doing. We did the happy hour oysters, crab rangoon, and the eggplant parmesan fritters and everything was crazy delicious. The oysters were fresh, clean, and perfectly shucked right in front of us. So happy we made it in for the happy hour. 10/10 would come back just for that combo again. Awesome awesome awesome
We had a great experience at Rodney’s Oyster House. Everything was on point — the food was fresh, delicious, and clearly prepared with care. A special thank you to the servers for their friendly and attentive service, and to the kitchen team for such amazing dishes. What I personally loved the most was the oysters — especially the platter with different varieties from various provinces. It was a great way to try and compare unique flavors all in one place. The only downside was that it was very busy — the place was completely full, even though there are plenty of seats. But that just shows how popular and good this spot is. Overall, highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back!
Had such a fantastic experience at Rodney’s Oyster House! We tried a selection of fresh oysters from different coasts — everything tasted incredibly fresh and beautifully shucked. The cooked crab was absolutely delicious, and the clams were just as impressive — tender and full of flavour. Even the salad surprised us — the dressing was so rich and tasty that it made a simple dish stand out. We also had a lovely wine that paired perfectly with the seafood. A special thank-you to our waitress Kelly — she was very sweet, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout the evening, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend for seafood lovers!
