We had dinner at Sotto Sotto tonight, and everything was absolutely delicious! But what truly made our evening unforgettable was the incredible service. Our waiter Jorge was simply amazing, so warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Massimo, the chef WOW! The food was incredible! And it was so lovely talking to Jeffrey and learning more about Sotto Sotto and the story behind the restaurant. What a truly world-class team! We have honestly never experienced such warm, personal, and heartfelt service anywhere else. You made us feel so incredibly welcome and made our evening very special. A thousand thank-yous to Jorge, Massimo, Jeffrey, both security guards and the entire Sotto Sotto team! ❤️ Dankeschön 🙏
Great food. Nice that they had a zero prosecco 🥂 on the drink menu (hard to find). Strange that our waiter didn't speak with us at all. Beware. If you reserve a Sat night for dinner (our reserve was at 6 pm) you only have 90 mins at the table. At 7 40, as we were enjoying our coffee (2 hours at tables is customary), we were told we had to leave right away because people had been waiting now 10 mins for their table. A very abrupt end to our dining experience. We were told we should have known we only had 90 mins. (?) Suggestion: train staff to advise people when making reservations. Won't return.
The service here was amazing the hostess was kind and welcoming when we arrived early for our reso. Jorge was our server and he added to the amazing experience. He was funny, helpful, attentive, helped recommend things off the menu. I’ve been to sotto but the Oakville location and hated it. It was my first time at the location the food and service was better. It was like going to two different restaurants. Now for the food, Loved the calamari, I ordered the mushroom pasta and didn’t like it, it bland and had no flavour had to ask for salt and pepper. My friend ordered vodka rigatoni and it was so good. We actually ate that together. I will be ordering that when I go back. Then we had the tiramisu which was amazing. The espresso, lychee martinis and wine were good here too. Can’t wait to go back, hopefully sit in Jorge section again. Highly recommend.
We celebrated a birthday at Sotto Sotto and had such a lovely evening. The staff were incredibly sweet, attentive, and made our family feel truly welcomed. The food was delicious—simple, fresh, and full of flavour. It was the perfect spot for a special family celebration. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great service and a warm atmosphere.
