The food is deletable and authentic Italian. I tried the Pinsa Casa Mia pizza and my mom had the spaghetti frutti di mare. The ingredients they use to prepare the food are fresh and the taste of both dishes reminded me of my childhood when I would go eat at my grandma’s cooking!
Lovely place to come for lunch! Portion sizes were large and tasted delicious. We ordered the spinach ravioli with chicken, creamy chicken pesto penne, and the bruschetta. You have to get the bruschetta, the balsamic and the tomatoes were such great quality. Id love to come back to try the other pasta dishes.
Dined here tonight with my whole family—husband, parents, in-laws—and we were all blown away by this meal! Love that the ambiance is very lowkey, well lit, family owned and run. We had high hopes based on the reviews, and everything was truly exceptional. From the salads to the soup, to the bruschetta, to an array of mains (pasta, meatballs, lasagna). The produce tasted fresh, high quality, authentic. We are non-pork eaters and so we truly appreciated the ability to be able to order lasagna and meatballs worry free as the menu indicated that they were made entirely from beef vs. the traditional blend with ground pork. The menu is just long enough with all of the key Italian delicacies. My husband and I live just around the corner and we cannot wait to start to make this place our regular dining choice. Highly recommend; worth giving this place a try.
We had a wonderful experience at Portico! The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service was amazing — our host was so warm, attentive, and helpful throughout. We truly loved the overall vibe and can’t wait to visit again. Also to mention we had kids along and they were given small activities for good engagement. Appreciate it.
Please take the time to enjoy the delicious food made at portici. I ordered way to much for one person, but thanks okay, I definitely look forward to eating whag I ordered later. It was that tasty, and flavorful. I ordered the eggplant dip with side salad, the mushroom risotto, and lastly their seasonal pumpkin pudding. The eggplant dip had wonderful kick to it, like a good char and smokey heat. It wasn't spicy at all, would recommend if you like eggplant. The mushroom risotto was so creamy and seasoned so well. I also would recommend if you like mushrooms. If I ever make it back to toronto this will be my first stop. Oh yes the service was wonderful. I was by myself and came at slower time. But my server was kind attentive, and fun.
