I came here based on the recommendations of an IG ad for summerlicious and despite almost canceling on the day, I’m so happy I honored the reservation. The meals were some of my favorite meals I’ve had in a long time! The foie gras/tomato jam/hazelnut/toasted brioche combo was quite ingenious and worked really well. The fish & Spanish sofrito were divine and great follow up to the indulgent starter. Finally, the basque cheesecake with cherry sauce was the perfect end—the cheesecake wasn’t custardy or too sweet, and the slight tartness of the cherry sauce balanced it all out. My server was Danu from Ireland, and she was an absolute delight. She was very attentive and had great suggestions on the menu. The restaurant seems to be at the lobby of the hotel but honestly this didn’t bother me one bit. It was quiet despite other diners being present too. I can’t wait to go back and try other items on their usual menu!
My partner and I came for the summerlicious last night and had a splendid experience with Abrielle. The food was very good for the price point, flavour profile and adding on the wine paring made each dish even more memorable. You can really tell they take their time with the ingredients and that expert crafting goes in hand with their team members. We had a great pleasure of having the server Hani take care of us and she would often check in on us and make sure we were happy. Thank you again Abrielle and we’ll be back in the future!
Our entire experience at Abrielle was fantastic. The service was excellent and the staff was all very kind and informative. We went for summerlicious but ended up doing the chefs tasting menu and we were not disappointed. Right from the amuse bouche we were impressed. The waygu carpaccio was the best we’ve ever had. Everything was so flavourful and balanced down to the broccolini. The price was also very reasonable for a large 5 course menu. We will be back for sure. We were even treated to a complimentary sambuca after the meal.
I went to Abrielle for dinner, and the dishes I tried truly exceeded my expectations. For starters, we ordered the burrata toast and wagyu carpaccio. The burrata was very fresh and creamy, pairing perfectly with the bread. The wagyu carpaccio was thinly sliced, light, and well-balanced an excellent choice to begin with. For the mains, we tried the arroz caldoso and the Giannone chicken. The arroz caldoso had the perfect consistency not too soupy and not too thick with very well-balanced flavours. The Giannone chicken was lightly crispy on the outside while remaining juicy and tender on the inside, definitely one of the standout dishes. The charred broccolini we had on the side was also more flavourful than expected, with a slight char adding a nice touch. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to try different flavours, and I’d consider going back again.
My wife and I enjoyed a really nice meal here during our stay in Toronto. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The meal was really delicious. We shared the seared scallops and the short rib with the broccolini. The desserts are excellent as well! Highly recommend a visit if you're looking for a nice meal downtown.
