I went here with Coworkers, and everyone loved it. Their quality and flavour are always on point. If anything, you gotta try their Michelin chef created desserts, especially the Cheesecake and Strawberry mochi dome. For rolls, I highly recommend the Miku Roll and Garden Roll. Oysters are always fresh too.

An absolute gem for sushi lovers! The fish here is exceptionally fresh, high quality, and clearly prepared with great care. I loved the variety . They served some unique and distinctive flavors that you don't typically find elsewhere. Truly a memorable meal!

One of the best Japanese dining experiences I’ve had in Toronto. The Aburi sushi was absolutely delicious, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and beautiful presentation. The service was attentive and professional, and the atmosphere was elegant without feeling pretentious. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, making the entire meal memorable. If you’re looking for premium Japanese cuisine for a special occasion or simply want an outstanding sushi experience, Miku is definitely worth a visit.

If cost correlates to experience, I think Miku would be lucky to get 3 stars. I haven’t visited Miku since before covid but I had fond memories. Went this evening and ordered Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Vegetable Tempura, 2 orders of Salmon Oshi Sushi, 2 orders of Saba Oshi Shushi, 6 pieces salmon sashimi and 1 order Miku roll, along with a toasted rice green tea. Brussels sprouts arrived first and it was a larger dish than expected, but the sprouts were underdone to my liking and bland enough that I suspect someone forgot the Red Wine vinegar. The vegetable tempura arrived next and was crispy, light and fresh, but the accompanying tempura sauce was again lacking flavour, which left the dish lacking anything notable. The salmon sashimi followed and I was surprised how stringy all pieces were. This was the first real indication that the Miku I once knew is no more. Both the Salmon and Saba Oshi Sushi arrived next with with Miku roll. By this time I wasn’t surprised to find the dishes lacking flavour and, although presented well, didn’t do anything for me. In fact, for the price of those dishes, I highly suggest people pass over Miku and take the streetcar east to Maru Japanese Bistro, where you’ll find far superior salmon pressed sushi at less of a cost. As bad as it sounds to say, the best part of the experience was the tea and the service. I found my server attentive and informative. But the total with tip was over $150, and when you consider it was dinner for 1 and no alcohol, I think it’s fair to expect a meal that leaves you satisfied. If you’re looking for good sushi and can’t get to Maru, Jabistro is a better option.

It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and the service was outstanding. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the staff explained everything very well. The atmosphere was also great. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely come back again next time!😃
