A perfect spot that effortlessly balances a sophisticated, high-end atmosphere with a completely relaxed energy an absolute perfection. I recently dropped in with a friend for a catch-up session, and it delivered exactly the kind of night we were looking for. We weren't looking for a heavy, formal dinner, so we opted for a spread of their light bites and sharing plates to snack on while we chatted. What really tied the whole evening together was the service. The staff was attentive and highly professional!
The negroni is as classic as it gets, a bit on the pricey side and have had same quality for a better price in the neighbourhood. The steak tartare was diabolical I must admit. If you enjoy astringent mustard and horseradish, this may be the tartare for you. For my palate these flavour completely overtook the tartare, could not enjoy it for the life of me. Service is always a great time here.
An excellent experience at dbar located in the Four Season hotel. The place is beautiful and invites you to relax. Food was wonderful and exquisitely presented, an outstanding service by Fotis, who had the patience to wait for the late arrival of my guest, a student who was coming from the campus. The chicken liver mousse and tuna tartare: a delice for the eyes and then the stomach! Thank you!
I recently visited d|bar at the Four Seasons Toronto, and once again, it lived up to its reputation as one of the best spots in Yorkville. Being right on the ground level of the hotel gives it that perfect blend of high-end luxury and high-energy atmosphere. The service was top-tier thanks to our server Gabriel, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. He truly went above and beyond and deserves a raise for making the experience so seamless! As for the food, the kitchen is firing on all cylinders. We tried the crispy pork belly, octopus, shishito peppers, and the beef tartare, and every single dish was fantastic. The environment is giving in every sense of the word; the vibe was great like always, and the entire place is kept to a high standard, including very clean restrooms. If you are looking for a chic and delicious experience in the heart of Toronto, d|bar is the place to be. I will definitely be back!
