Stumbled upon Cibo Wine Bar in Yorkville and decided to try their lunch. The three-level space is gorgeous – butcher-block tables, leather chairs, artwork, and a wine wall with 2,500+ bottles. Basement feels like a wine cellar, upper floor has an industrial vibe. Great atmosphere. Lunch menu offers plenty of choices at reasonable prices. We ordered: · PESTO CHICKEN PANINI (mozzarella, heirloom tomato, garlic aioli, arugula, focaccia) – crispy bread, generous filling · Pasta of the day was pesto sauce with lots of cheese – creamy and al dente · MARGHERITA PIZZA (fior di latte, San Marzano D.O.P tomato, basil) – simple and delicious · POLENTA FRIES (gorgonzola dip + spicy marinara) – first time trying these, crispy outside, soft inside, perfect with both dips · INSALATA CESARE (croutons, bacon, parmigiano, lemon, EVOO) – well-dressed and fresh Great food quality, attentive service, beautiful interiors, and affordable prices. Definitely coming back!
Wow—the food was absolutely amazing! The service from Rouge and Julian was exceptional; they were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I ordered the spicy calzone, and it was incredible—packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat. This was my first time here, and I was genuinely impressed. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Cibo Wine Bar Yorkville is a beautiful and well decorated restaurant that truly stands out. The ambiance is elegant and classy, making it a perfect spot for a special night out. The food was incredibly delicious, with every dish prepared with great attention to detail. You can really taste the care and quality in each bite. The service was also amazing, attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire experience. This is definitely a place to visit, whether for a date or a gathering with friends, if you are looking to enjoy a great time in a refined setting.
As an Italian working in an authentic Italian restaurant, Daniele brought a special touch to the experience with his passion for the cuisine and insightful recommendations. We had a wonderful dinner at Cibo and Daniele made the experience truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, he was warm, attentive, and professional. He provided excellent recommendations for both the pizza and the wine, and everything was absolutely delicious. Daniele struck the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space to enjoy our meal. His friendly attitude, knowledge of the menu, and genuine care for the guests made a great evening even better. Outstanding service and hospitality, we'll definitely be back. Thank you, Daniele!
We visited Cibo Yorkville with a group of eight to celebrate my brother-in-law’s birthday, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. First and foremost, we want to give a very special thank you to Andrew, our server. All eight of us unanimously agreed that, in all our years living in Canada, we have never experienced service quite like this. Andrew went above and beyond in every possible way. He was incredibly professional, attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great evening. Even at some of the finest restaurants, you don't always receive service at this level. Andrew set a new standard for us. He anticipated our needs, made excellent recommendations, and handled our large group effortlessly while making each of us feel valued and welcome. As great as the food was and it truly was delicious,I think we all enjoyed the service even more. Andrew was a huge part of what made this celebration so special and memorable. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We left talking about how amazing the service was and how much we enjoyed our evening. A heartfelt thank you to Andrew and the entire team at Cibo Yorkville. We can't wait to come back!
