Please like and follow. The patio if this restaurant has a great look at the First Canadian place. We arrive in time, but we had to wait 10 minutes for them to prepare our table. When we were seated there was multiple empty tables which makes our waiting weird... The food, we ordered a Greek salad with chiken and a tuna poke. Both of the meals tasted good. Nothing superb. The waiting issue came to hunt us when we ask for our bill to leave. We had to waith another 15 minutes to get it.
The food tasted great and the presentation of the dishes was good as well. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere both inside and on the patio, creating a very inviting vibe. We had lunch indoors, and the setting was enjoyable. It’s a great place to hang out with friends or meet colleagues for lunch and conversation. Overall, a pleasant experience with good food and a nice ambiance.
We tried the brussels sprouts, truffle fries, Korean fried Chicken, the double deck which consisted of tortillas and jalapenos dips... Also tried the old fashioned which was very nice... The Shirley Temple wasn't good.... They was too much waiting. The service was a little slow... Overall a nice experience.. they have 2 to 5 p.m. Happy hours every day... Our server was nice and helpful. The place had a relaxing and welcoming vibe. We stopped in for a pre-show lunch on Sunday at noon. While the dip duo was good the hummus consistency was runnier than I’m used to and tzatziki lacked flavour. I initially thought it was plain yogurt (not even Greek). This dish was bland aside from the sliced black olives. The chicken salad was filling and the veggies were fresh while the chicken was tender and juicy. There were “surprises (date pits) but nothing that was too bothersome. Calamari had a crispy coating and soft inside. Its serving portion compared to the dish size was a bit disappointing… the dipping sauce was tasty.
Had the pleasure of enjoying some Happy Hour shareable and beer with my husband at King Taps earlier this week before we attended WWE Monday night RAW at Scotiabank. We were seated at a small table near the bar, though we would have preferred a booth but we're told that there wasn't enough wait staff to cover the booth seating area until a little later. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We tried 4 shareable items. My favourites were the Korean Chicken and Chicken Sliders. I also got the Sticky Toffee pudding for dessert and OMG it was by far the best I have had since I tried it at Hell's Kitchen in Las Vegas a few years back!! A thoroughly satisfying palate experience all around! The vibe was pretty cool as well. When we first arrived around 4pm there were not many people there, but it quickly filled up by the time we left. There was old school music videos (90's hip hop and pop) playing on the T.V's which was fun! I look forward to the opportunity to go back again next time I am in Toronto! The pizzas on the menu sounded delicious, so will definitely have to try one next time!
