This is the best spot for a first date. Really relaxing and chill atmosphere for an upscale restaurant with singer and pianist. The best part was their summerlicious menu. For the price, this restaurant is exceptional. Delicious and strong flavours of food, looks and tastes amazing. Highly recommend during special events! Truffle beef carpaccio & braised beef cheek were so soft and flavorful
It's my first time visiting Blu and to try their Summerlicious menu. We both ordered for starters the cappacio with its melt in the mouth flavours. For the mains we had the salmon for one of the dishes and the beef cheeks for the other. The beef cheeks is a must as they are so soft and tender that you don't need to chew it. The deserts was a nice treat as we ordered the pineapple panacota and the roasted peach with cream. To round it off we had a mild tea and an espresso. The staff were great at explaining to us what each dish was as well as replacing our finished plates with fresh ones, but Nasir was fabulous and was very helpful with most things. Overall a fantastic experience as it was my wife's birthday and would love to come back again.
I came alone and had the tasting menu. The food was all delicious and the service was wonderful. The two starters were great. I liked the butternut squash ravioli as well although I thought the red pepper sauce was a bit too overwhelming - I would have liked it better with just a regular brown butter sauce as the butternut squash is already so flavourful. The fish was cooked perfectly and the dessert was also delicious. When I went there was also a pianist playing. I didn’t mind this as i was alone and it created a nice ambiance however it may be a bit loud depending on where you are sitting if you’re there for a date night or out with friends
We had our sons engagement celebration at Blu on King on a Sunday afternoon. We were a party of 40 guests. The owner and servers were all exceptional. Our guest were able to choose a variety of dishes from the menu we pre selected. From beef carpaccio to tuna tartare, pasta, lamb chops, salmon, a delicious selection of desserts. I would highly recommend Blu for you special event.
Went for lunch during winterlicious. Great menu but regular menus also had some amazing items. Lunch was pretty casual. Food was fresh and very tasty. Well prepared and some nice flavours. Good attentive service. Would recommend.
