Visited on a Friday lunchtime and I was easily able to obtain a seat. Greeted by friendly staff and ordered a coffee. Very strong coffee which was quickly served. There are two rooms one with several shelves of board games available for hire. The facility was well maintained and the washroom clean. The price for a coffee was $4.
The lattes taste so good! We each had 2 since we wanted to try few of them. There is a $6 cover charge for boardgames. Worth a visit!
Came here with a couple of friends on a last minute whim, and we didn’t regret it! I called in to book a reservation for 7PM a few hours ahead on a Friday. It was empty when we got there, but got pretty busy towards the evening. The food was decent, drinks were amazing, and the game selection was great! We played Wavelength and Monopoly. I ordered the creamy sausage udon and loaded fries, and I was able to request the bacon to be removed on both. The proportions are just right, not too much or too little. Our waiter was also welcoming and checked on us time to time. Only thing I would recommend is that the games be sorted into different categories to find them easier. There is a PDF on their website that goes into depth for each game available which is helpful, though! In total, I spent around $50, with the 2 hour game fee and additional hour.
Like how this place offers more than the unusual run-of-the-mill cafe drinks. Got the: - Orange Americano: Interesting look, interesting taste. - Twilight Milk Tea: Ironically, the drink with their name on it was the one that was meh. - Matcha Cake Box: Good strong matcha flavour, smooth cream. Space is bright. Prices are what prices are these days. Service is efficient. Also offers food (smelled great) and has a gameboard section (fun!) for you to enjoy. An enjoyable cafe to chat or play the time away.
Great spot with reasonable pricing, they have a great deal right now if you order food you can get a coffee/drink for 2-3$. My partner I spent around 70$ (including tax and tip) and played 3 hours and bought food as well. The servers were nice and attentive, and they seem to prepare the food as well so it’s impressive they can juggle everything. I got a matcha latte and the latte art was beautiful! The washrooms were very clean as well which is always nice. Good selection of board games, my only feedback would be to make some kind of sorting system for the games so you can easily tell which ones are for 2 people, 4 people, 4+ etc. you can normally find this info on the sides of the boxes so it’s no big deal but would make things faster so you don’t have to search for the info.
