Food was delicious! I finished everything on the plate and would definitely come back again! I'll admit the music was a little loud for my liking, but otherwise; everything else was good! The waitress had awesome recommendations for food to try on your first time, and the atmosphere was definitely cool. Would come back again for sure!

I stopped into The Morning After yesterday while in Toronto for a work event, grabbing breakfast with a buddy. We were the only guests when we arrived, and the staff mentioned they had a large party coming in an hour. At first, it felt like they were a bit rushed and not as warm as we expected, which set the tone a little off. That said, our waitress completely turned things around. She checked in often, was friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. By the time our food arrived, the experience felt much better. I ordered the strawberry special pancakes, loaded with fresh strawberries, and they were really good—fluffy, sweet, and not overdone. My buddy had the French toast, which he enjoyed, and we both added a side of bacon. The fresh‑squeezed orange juice was a standout for me. Overall, despite a slightly awkward start, the service recovered nicely and the food was genuinely enjoyable. With the photos and video I took, I think it’ll show that The Morning After is worth a visit—especially when they’re not gearing up for a big group.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Morning After – Toronto, Canada Stopped into The Morning After for breakfast before a conference, and it ended up being a nice start to the day. We ordered the French toast with bacon and eggs, plus the strawberry pancakes, and everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The portions were solid and the presentation was on point. Our server was amazing — friendly, attentive, and on top of everything even with a large party scheduled to arrive. They gave us a heads‑up that it was about to get crowded and moved us to the bar so we could enjoy our meal without the rush. Smart move and great hospitality. We even played a fun game with our server that landed her a $50 tip. The cappuccinos were really good too, and the whole place had that “open for business and ready to roll” energy that you want in a morning spot. Clean, upbeat, and efficient. Overall, a great breakfast experience and a spot I’d definitely return to when I’m back in Toronto.

I had brunch here on a snowy Wednesday afternoon. I ordered Ay Dio mio (had my eggs scrambled with cheese), the flight risk (french toast flight) and the birthday suit drink which was a cake twist on an espresso martini (liked it). My guest ordered the purple haze drink and the wake &steak - she enjoyed her steak. Overall the food was good. The french toast was VERY rich and sweet but would be perfect to share if you and a guest had a savory main dish. We couldn't finish the flight (also the bread with certain more sugar dense toppings was a little dry). My egg dish was excellent and my favorite part of the brunch. Our waitress Melanie (who i believe was also the bartender that day) was so pleasant and helpful when we had questions. I also ordered the mac daddy TO GO (just plain mac & cheese). I didnt enjoy that as much mainly due to the sauce- it was kind of soupy and not very flavorful. They did have the option to add mixings to the mac. Overall i had a good experience. I was only passing through but it net my expectations for a cutesy post spa brunch. I would be back again & would recommend to others :)
