Fantastic experience at Terra! The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish appetizers, drinks, mains, and dessert were all outstanding. A big thank you to Jennie for her amazing service. She was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making our evening extra special. Highly recommend!
Really enjoyed the dining experience here. Both the food and the service were excellent. I was especially impressed that they provide hand towels in the washroom, not only environmentally friendly, but also a thoughtful touch that reflects the restaurant’s attention to detail. When I ordered a cup of hot water, they serving it with lemon slices, fresh peppermint leaves, and honey. It’s these little added-value touches that truly stand out. We will definitely be returning.
Went for a Mother’s Day dinner and it was great. The atmosphere was inviting and upscale, clean and they had a valet service. The food was amazing and the service was good. They did really well accommodating my 2 young children.the only reason I gave a 4 star was because at the end of our meal, our server did not offer us any dessert. We had a pretty large bill and it would have been nice to end it in a sweet note. Overall it was a great fine dining experience.
This is a lovely place to have dinner; we had the tomahawk steak, mashed potatoes, gnocchi, Ceasars salad and desserts. the steak was absolutely delicious; I would say its about 20oz cooked. 10/10 mashed potatoes were fine 6/10 the gnocchi was a total miss for us. 2/10 too much ice in our drinks. we didnt order liquor so it felt watered down too much the Ceasar salad was proper but maybe just a little too rich; really enjoyed the corn and bacon in it 9/10 the cheesecake was fantastic 10/10 the creme brulee was undercooked. it didnt hold well in the ramekin; very soft 4/10 the atmosphere is wonderful and the service is top notch we did make a reservation stating it was a dinner celebrating our marriage that day and the restaurant didnt acknowledge our special day which is a complete miss. I would almost lower my rating because of these little slips but we enjoyed our dinner. I found the prices a bit too high for what you get 275 for our steak 18 for those three little mashed potato balls 18 for that gnocchi fair price for the desserts and drinks
Terra is one of those places that just feels like a proper night out the second you sit down. The atmosphere is upscale but still comfortable, with that classic fine dining energy without being overly stiff. The food really delivers. The steak was cooked perfectly with a great char on the outside and super tender inside. You can tell they take their time with it. The sides were just as strong, especially the mashed potatoes which were smooth and rich without being too heavy, and the vegetables were fresh and well seasoned. Even the small touches like the garlic and sauces elevated everything, although I did find there was quite a bit of garlic throughout, which might not be for everyone. Service is where Terra really stands out. Attentive without hovering, polished but still warm. Everything comes out at the right time, and you feel taken care of the entire meal. The wine list is also impressive, with tons of options if you’re into that, and the overall presentation from start to finish feels thoughtful and refined. Only small thing that felt a bit odd was the takeaway process. You’re given a tag for your leftovers and have to pick it up on the way out, which felt a little unnecessary, especially at this price point where you’d expect it to just be brought to the table or handled more seamlessly. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but this is one of those spots where it actually feels justified. Terra is the kind of place you go for a date night, celebration, or when you want something a step above your usual dinner. Would absolutely go back.
