Reviews
Silent H is a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere, gorgeous interior, and really friendly staff. The food was delicious but my only reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars is the value. While everything tasted great, I don’t think the pricing matched the portions. Paying $47 for three taco slices just didn’t feel fully worth it.
We came here for my buddy’s engagement dinner. Cute environment and thought-out interior design but the service especially on such a special night left so much to be desired. Our server greeted us and then left to get menus. We didn’t see her for about 20-30 minutes after, but I did see her chatting up with other staff members in the corner in the hallway. When she brought menus, we told her we’re thinking of ordering champagne and asked to see the bottle menu. She left and talked to some other girl who came by 10 minutes after and reviewed the champagne options with us verbally. We said we would like to see the menu, this new girl left and came back like 20 minutes later with the bottle menu. More than an hour at this point had passed and we hadn’t even ordered. Let that sink in… Felt like our server was new and she was nice and polite but on a Sunday night with only one other table to serve, this such long wait time just to get menus is inexplicable. Food was pretty good, although I found it a bit overpriced, but I know it’s a handpicked selection of the chef’s tastes of home away from home so I’ll allow it. Selection of cocktails and drinks were pretty fire, I got the Deserted in Durango and it was really good. Good food, poor service, high ticket, cute interior. Likely won’t go again!
Came here on one of the less busy nights to celebrate my partners birthday and had such a great time. The service was excellent, I wish I could remember my servers name, my apologies. The whole place was a vibe, the music, the atmosphere and of course the cocktails which were strong but tasty, just how we like it. The best part of our night, receiving the birthday dessert where you get to smash a piñata cookie over ice cream, definitely wasn’t expecting that but loved it nonetheless. Would definitely recommend this place!
This place is great for a wonderful evening in Toronto. It has a great vibe and a wonderful buzz. There is a lot happening on the go here. It's a great place for a celebration. The staff work very hard and are excellent. Ophelia was brilliant and she took care of us throughout the night. They have a happy hour between 5pm and 7pm every night where you can enjoy $4 bites and $10 margaritas. The mains were very good too. The only downside is that the do not have any vegetarian or vegan options in the mains so if your party has any guests with these dietary restriction then they have to order larger starter portions. The dessert was fantastic. Ophelia recommended the Sticky Pear and Walnut which was great. Some of the food was a little on the salty side and the portions are very budget for a first class price
Amazing service! We went to dinner for our anniversary and because of the Gardner closure we missed our reservation at another restaurant. Jad and the hostest did everything they could to make our night still special. They got us a table on a really busy night, drinks and a dessert! The bartender even took our picture and they brought us a card. They really really went above and beyond! The food and the drinks were great! The cocktails were very interesting and tasty. The food was expensive but very flavourful and presented beautifully. They were so sweet, we will for sure be back!
