It was great to sit outside and watch the world go by. Food and service was excellent. I do have to be honest we sent the octopus back as it was very dry and tough however there was no question and our server took it off our bill without asking. The salad and the short rib were the highlights for us.
Was taken here to celebrate my birthday and it definitely did not disappoint. Like its sister restaurant, the tasting menu is phenomenal value, really well executed, and all around delicious. I personally thought the concepts at SARA landed a bit better, but that could be a seasonality thing. Would love to return.
Amazing dinner! The two of us got the experience and wine pairing + the Bronzino. The wine pours were true glasses of wine which was so nice! And sherry for dessert was such a good flavour. All the food was incredible! Michaela was our waitress and she was so lovely and very attentive but never rushed us. After a 22% tip and taxes, the total was $280. It was $59/pp for the tasting menu, $49/pp for the wine pairing and $32 for the additional fish dish. We got seven dishes plus dessert and the wine pairing— I haven’t found another restaurant in the city with this quality and quantity for this price.
Service was great! And atmosphere is good too being on Harbord Street. Food can be better flavor wise as well as the cocktails. Spicy ceviche was great. Their award winning cocktail is really good. The chocolate coconut dessert that they made us try was great.
WOW! What a treat to have eaten at this restaurant. The food was incredibly delicious! The flavours combined really well with each other and weren't too overpowering. Each dish really shone on its own. The quality of each dish was excellent and I can understand why this place was given the Bib Gourmand award. On top of the delicious food, our service and our server was superb! She was friendly and detailed with the menu, which my friend and I truly appreciated. Highly recommend this place, would come back in a heart beat!
