Reviews
Great experience at Maguro House. The service was excellent, and the portions were very generous. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. As we walked by the fish prep area when entering, the chef greeted us warmly, which was a very nice touch. My friends and I ordered the Love Boat for 4, which included a great assortment of tempura, sushi and sashimi. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The menu also features a wide variety of specialty rolls that are not commonly found at other Japanese restaurants. The meal came with miso soup, a small salad appetizer, and delicious ice cream to finish. Highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely come back again!
My new favourite hidden gem! The food is 10/10 and the price is more than fair. Portion sizes are perfect. Customer service is excellent. Always greeted with love and respect! It will be hard to cook dinner most nights now 😅 Update: I tried the Japanese curry beef and it was super flavourful. Definitely worth trying if you are a curry lover like me!
So glad to find this nice chill sushi spot by the waterfront :) Everything was fresh and really well done—loved the tuna tataki and the unagi don was super satisfying. Portions were good too. Chill vibe, good for a casual night out. I’d come back 👍
Absolutely wonderful experience. The sushi chef was so friendly and the food tasted fresh and delicious. I was here on a quick layover when flying through Toronto City airport, and it was a very quick easy 5 minute walk.
Great dining experience! The restaurant has a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. The food was excellent and arrived quickly, which was a nice surprise. The service was also very good—friendly and attentive throughout. I had the pork ramen, and it was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. I would definitely come back!
