Third time here and we stumbled in as a group of 5. Was greeted with the warmest service and was so well taken care of. Been there for three different menus, and this time was no different - everything was extremely creative and well executed to a T. Will be back. Also I don’t know our servers name but she rocked!

Realized it was a "Grey Monday" yesterday while having a drink in Kensington so I decided to grab an early reservation and am so glad I did! Food is expensive these days, especially at a fine dining level, but Jenn Agg's Grey Monday delivered an exceptional tasting menu full of seasonal specialties like white asparagus , ramps, and chicken. Each dish was complex and delicious, and the portions were more than adequate. My husband opted for the optional wine pairings (which I sampled) and I had a glass of a lovely orange wine. My favourite dish was the Japanese-influenced mackerel with dashi broth and shiso leaves-- Amazing! But the vegetarian asparagus dish and the chicken liver ravioli were also incredible and as amateur pasta makers, we appreciated the work involved. If you can manage it, I'd go early. The husband and I were in the first seating and so it was quiet to start with wonderful service from everyone. We got the best seats in the house -- end of the bar with a view of all the plating and stove action. the place starts bubbling more as the evening goes on, of course. It's a great Date Night or special occasion, and Grey Monday makes that even more accessible.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Grey Gardens. The food menu is very focused. Dishes were so flavourful, fresh and excellently presented. Server Anna provided attentive, professional and friendly service. They have an extensive wine list. The ambiance is warm, fun and welcoming. I can see why this restaurant is consistently well reviewed and rates a mention in the Michelin guide. I expect to return to this restaurant. Highly recommended!

I visited for a Grey Monday— a once a month, financially “accessible” tasting menu. I say accessible as the normal Torontonian is not diving into casual fine dining tasting menus, but as far as tasting menus go, this is well worth the price. Food was really great. For the price point— honestly phenomenal, the best I’ve seen in the GTA. For $90 you receive 6-7 courses. Many diners always tout how small portions are— for Grey Gardens, this is far from the truth. By the 4th course I was full and really had to push myself to finish the rest. This is a great thing, by the way. The menu changes monthly, but the main course was lamb belly with sunchoke puree- easily $60 at another restaurant, but only 1/7 dishes I had that night. My favourite of the night was a potato and anchovie dish. Service was prompt, and on par for a fine dining restaurant. Never went without a drink, table always wiped, water always filled. I went as a solo diner— I’d highly recommend Grey Mondays! I’ll need to visit another time.

The service, ambience, and of course food were all 10/10!!! The vibe is very moody and cozy - perfect for date nights or intimate outings. My faves were the steak tartare (got too excited to eat it before taking the pic), the ravioli with cheese curds and leek (my number one), and the Tom cruise cake (it tastes like a sour cream glazed donut from Tim’s but better iykyk). I would also give an honourable mention to the bread and cultured butter which I highly recommend ordering alongside the tartare. To top it all off they gave us free appertivos because it was our anniversary
