⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful dining experience at Jung Soo Nae on Finch! I ordered the beef soup with cabbage, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and very comforting. The ingredients tasted fresh, and every spoonful was satisfying. What made the experience even better was the warm, cozy ambiance. The restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere that makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal. Great food, excellent service, and a super welcoming environment. I’ll definitely be coming back! 😊🍲
I had dinner here and ordered the 청국장/ CheongGukJang. If you’re familiar with Korean food, you’ll know this dish has a very distinctive fermented soybean flavor. This one tasted just like the kind you’d find at a local restaurant in Korea, and it brought back a lot of memories😖❤️ The stew arrived piping hot and still bubbling. Check out the video I uploaded!! The side dishes were excellent as well. There was a great variety, everything tasted fresh, and I ended up ordering an extra bowl of their delicious Korean multigrain rice. (Refills aren’t free, but it was definitely worth it🍚) The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere made me feel like I was dining in Korea rather than Toronto. If you’re looking for authentic Korean home-style food instead of Korean BBQ, I highly recommend this place✨️
Love this restaurant! Feels like I’m in Korea. Great menu selection. Friendly service and cozy atmosphere! We ordered the seasoned crab, mixed rice, bulgogi, and stew. Delicious! We will be back! Great banchan selection too. There were a lot of customers which means it must be good.
We came here on a friend’s recommendation and honestly left very satisfied. The auntie and uncle working there were incredibly warm and friendly, and they kept checking to see if we needed anything. The food took a little while, but everything tasted freshly made. The prices seem a bit high at first, but the portions are quite large. It especially makes sense if you’re sharing dishes. I’ll definitely be coming back again.
Tried Finch JungSooNae because I was craving 간장게장 (Ganjang Gejang) and my friends kept telling me I had to come… and WOW it totally hit the spot 😭🔥 We drove about 20 minutes in pretty crappy weather, but it was 100% worth it. The raw marinated crab was sooo fresh, rich, and just everything I wanted. They also give 6 side dishes and all of them were actually good (not just fillers lol). The seafood pancake was AMAZING too—crispy, flavorful, and honestly one of the better ones I’ve had. Everything we ordered was solid, no complaints at all. Shoutout to the staff for being so sweet—we were literally the last ones there and still managed to sneak in drinks right before last call 😂 Also such a nice spot to catch up with friends over good food. Would definitely come back and highly recommend if you’re craving legit Korean foodd!!
