Have been to the place already twice and would keep coming back for the quality of the food. The service was nothing special. Patio area gets very busy and loud during summer nights. Special recommendations are: - house made focaccia is absolutely out of this world for those who love bread like me - veal schnitzel portion is big and pretty filling - banana caramel cheesecake was incredible and has been my favourite among other deserts.
What a great downtown dining experience! Located right between the TD Towers, this restaurant is a perfect spot for lunch or dinner, especially during patio season. The patio is beautiful and one of the best places to enjoy a meal at this time of year. The service was great from start to finish, and all of the appetizers were delicious. While the tuna wasn’t my favorite dish, the wagyu dumplings and octopus were outstanding and packed with flavor. For my main course, I asked our server for a recommendation and went with the halibut. It was an excellent choice, perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily the highlight of my meal. Great atmosphere, attentive service, and very good food.
First time at Bymark. Had an early Friday dinner with a colleague and really enjoyed my meal. Was a little breezy outside so we ate downstairs around 7:30 and it was quite empty, everyone else seemed to opt for the patio. The menu had no vegan options listed but when I inquired there were numerous options available… I opted for their vegan lasagna and I’d highly recommend it. It was delicious. I could have made better notes as their online menu doesn’t track to what I recall… we had a starter that included a sweet pea based falafel, which I had never seen before, it was also great, a nice bright green falafel, which when you think about it, makes sense, yet I was still surprised to see it, would order again for sure. I did opt for two scoops of their sorbet for dessert… both great, but again forget what they were and no help from the website. Server suggested the scoops were a modest size so I went for two… but they were pretty big, would have been fine with just one… naturally I ate them both :). Will gladly return.
Found some pictures of when I visited with a group last year. Food was memorable even after a year. So good. Service was great. These dumplings OMG. Need to go back one day.
My partner and I had an absolutely amazing experience! From when we got there untill the time we left. The hostess that greeted us was super friendly and kind. We sat downstairs in the dining room. The restaurant itself was absolutely gorgeous. It wasn’t super busy, so it made for a wonderful birthday celebration, we didn’t feel rushed and we didn’t have to fight the noise of a pack restaurant. . Our server was amazing. The food, phenomenal!! The quality superior.! I’d definitely recommend this wonderful restaurant for anyone looking have a nice night out. Thank you to everyone for making this special.
