Wow. The food was phenomenal. One dish better than the other. As another reviewer shared - from the menu it seems you are ordering from just another mediterranean restaurant. But once it comes out, each dish is a work of art. Everything was SO flavorful and well balanced. We were even impressed by the persian carrot jeweled rice (and we are Iranians!) Our favorites were the crispy shrimp, eggplant dumplings, sweet jeweled rice, tomato cucumber salad, and the baklava. Though it was all great! I didn’t love the atmosphere - had a very modern feel to it and upbeat music. But our server was fantastic so I kept the 5 stars.
Absolutely amazing dining experience! The food was simply outstanding. Every dish we ordered was exceptional beautifully prepared, packed with flavor, and absolutely delicious. Every bite felt like a taste of heaven. The quality, creativity, and attention to detail were evident in every course, making this one of the most memorable meals we've had. A special thank you to our waiter, Rebei, who truly made our visit unforgettable. He was incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire meal. He checked on us regularly, made sure everything was perfect, and took the time to chat with us, creating a welcoming and personal experience. His hospitality and genuine kindness were second to none. The atmosphere was calm, cozy, and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal. The restaurant also has a very unique design and character, with thoughtful details that give it a special charm and memorable ambiance. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for outstanding food, exceptional service, and a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Had my birthday dinner here and I must say I left really impressed and satisfied! The food was phenomenal, as a group we ordered crispy shrimp, octopus, hummus royale, & the baby gem for starters. My favourite was the octopus, it was tender and cooked beautifully, 10/10 would recommend ordering as a starter. For the mains, we had the ribeye, lamb rack, & harissa roasted half chicken. The ribeye was cooked to a medium rare and while personally I prefer it cooked to a medium, this was really delicious and left me reconsidering my preference in the cook. The chicken was also really delicious and tender, not dry at all especially the light meat. Flavours were phenomenal. I didn’t have the lamb, but everyone who did really enjoyed it. The service was exceptional and the staff were very friendly. Everything was done quickly and smoothly with the servers checking in regularly to ensure everything was great! I felt spoiled with such great service :) Highly recommend visiting! Perfect for special occasions and date nights!
Byblos was a lovely experience. Great food, good atmosphere inside. Though outside there is construction, a hobo sleeping right out front, and they are tucked in behind another.. I think restaurant? So it was a little tricky to see. We did family style and enjoyed multiple appetizers. The fried eggplant was my favorite! The drinks are a bit pricier than what I saw online unfortunately. But they did not disappoint. 4.5/5 I would say.
We went to Byblos on Duncan to celebrate my mother’s 65th birthday, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful experience. We were a party of five and were hosted by Davey, who was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. For appetizers, we ordered the halloumi cheese and lamb ribs, both of which were delicious and full of flavor. For our mains, we enjoyed the branzino, fried chicken, salmon, and short rib kebab, along with a bottle of red wine. Every dish was delectable, flavorful, and honestly surpassed our expectations. Davey was attentive throughout the evening, always refilling our glasses before we even had to ask, and he had a great sense of humor that made the atmosphere feel relaxed and welcoming. He was especially kind to our daughters, which made the celebration feel even more special. It was our first time dining here, and it definitely won’t be our last. A fantastic place for a special occasion. Highly recommended!!!!
