Had a group dinner here and it was a lovely experience! Had multiple courses, we worked with the helpful staff to curate the experience to cover multiple dishes. The burrata, pizza, and the pasta were so good! Would come back and recommend

Tried their lunch menu, overall really worth it! Started with carpaccio di manzo, top quality cured beef combined with parmigiano and balsamic, full of umami; ordered separately the acciughe e burro, which i think is truly a hidden gem and a must-try, the ingredients are super simple but again with really high quality, the result is this absolutely absolutely delicious dish, you have to order and try it yourself; not too much to say about the branzino, fresh and tasty of course, the tiramisu is ok. The service is also great.

Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts! Balancing luxurious ingredients with technique and time-tested flavours, dinner at Buca is not to disappoint. The sublime angel hair pasta was cooked wonderfully, retaining a mild chew along with a comforting tenderness and brimming with a fresh, eggy aroma. The silky strands drink up an intensely savory lobster-tomalley sauce - buttery, sweet and oceanic - finished with olive oil and parsley. Tender lobster morsels add delicate sweetness and texture, and are an unforgettable indulgence, making them something I crave. The branzino is an exemplary example of less is more. The pristine, fresh fish is sliced thinly and dressed with an elegant mix of prosecco, lemon and extra virgin olive oil, which highlights its natural flavours. Take the branzino’s philosophy, and take the execution to another level with the near-perfect red pizza. Thin, crisp and beautifully charred crust with a light chew is the undeniable backdrop to the deeply savory and naturally sweet tomato sauce. The lycopene-rich tanginess pairs seamlessly with gooey islands of cheesy stracciatella, fresh basil and fragrant extra virgin olive oil for a rustic yet refined bite. The desserts were stars of their own show, starting with the tiramisu hidden beneath a glossy dark chocolate shell, which reveals espresso-soaked ladyfingers layered with airy mascarpone zabaglione. This modern take on tiramisu makes a lasting impression on my traditional views, lightly boozy and beautifully balanced, offering textural contrasts between creamy and crisp. Despite that, the Pizzelle found a way to further impress me. Four layers of crisp chocolate pizzelle and white chocolate ganache, alternating with tangy strawberry preserves. Vanilla creme anglaise cascades over the dessert, uniting cocoa richness, nutty sweetness, and fruit brightness - utterly mesmerizing.

Had the pleasure of dining at Buca Yorkville as they are just beginning to launch the new prix fix lunch menu. It was fantastic. Amazing quality and such a great prix fix value. We shared the carpaccio, beet salad, steak and branzino. All were delicious. Simple ingredients & so satisfying. Loved the Prosecco & finished with gelato and espresso for dessert. The sugar they offer with coffee was something new I had never tried. Espresso with sugar to make a syrup type of sweetener. Our server Mario was a gem, loved his style and just chatting with him about the dishes, restaurants in Toronto and his explanations were top notch. Thanks for a perfect lunch date for me and the hubby :)
