What a charming and intimate restaurant! My favourite was the classic Aloette Wedge Salad, it was not only stunning but definitely lived up to the hype. Service was also amazing and the atmosphere was warm. Side note: I need a link to their playlist asap 🔥
The food was great, and we especially enjoyed the salad, cake, Korean fried chicken, and burger. The only downside was the service time and seating. Our food took quite a while to arrive, and the seating wasn’t particularly comfortable. Dinner ended up taking nearly two hours, which felt much longer than expected. We ordered the asparagus tempura too but they didn't bring it which we found funny 😂
Loved the cozy vibe and playlist here. We were well-positioned to watch the chef at work, firing orders and inspecting every plate. Each dish was executed perfectly, and we really enjoyed our meal. Maria was a very warm host. I came ready to try the candied beets and shrimp and lobster fritters, but she upsold me the Easter prix fixe menu. It was absolutely worth it. Each bite had finesse, the flavours were balanced. Thank you for making our experience a pleasant one - it helped ease the pain from the loss of our baseball game last night.
Four of us sat in a booth and I loved how intimate the seating was. Even though it was busy, it was easy to talk and hear everyone in the group. We had reservations for a Friday evening. Sharing dishes is the best way to taste the menu. The cocktails were perfectly presented and strong. Everything we tried was delicious and bursting with flavour. I am not a fried chicken fan in general and I wouldn't get that again.
We came for an early dinner before a concert. Our table was ready and we were quickly seated and reading the menu. Cocktails arrived soon thereafter. As part of the Alo group of restaurants we had high expectations and frankly there was nothing they could have done to make the experience better. The food was great. The service was impeccable. And there were no surprises.
