Can here for summerlicious 2026. The food no doubt was excellent. Both of our appetizers were delicious and the duck risotto was done perfectly al dente. My only gripe is that my server asked if we needed bread in a way that suggested it was complimentary (it was not). Same when I asked for tap water but got bottled mineral water.
We stepped in off the road into this lovely restaurant on a whim. The place is serene and comfortably decorated. Tables are set traditionally with linen. The food here is prepared with love and attention to detail that we haven’t found very often outside of Europe. The staff is well trained, attentive, and knowledgeable, which makes a wine paring as easy as asking for a recommendation. Overall a lovely experience that I can highly recommend. Congratulations on 30 years of providing a truly delightful dining experience to Marco and his staff.
FOOD: I came here for Summerlicious menu. I was a bit disappointed as few days before I came to its sister restaurant. And I realized both restaurant have exact same theme, same set up, food is very much alike, some of the dishes are the same. The summerlicious menu and the food quality didn't show how good their food actually is. The summerlicious menu has very affordable price. As a result the quality of the dishes are not that great. The dishes is good for the price. SERVICE: I kinda few like I didn't spend enough here to receive an upscale dining service level. The waiter almost didn't care about me. VIBE: exactly the same as their sister restaurant. The place is in a small quite street so there's not many customers especially during lunch time. I feel like the decoration and set up is way too heavy and old school.
Definitely a wonderful and delicious experience. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant had a very nice lofty feeling to it. The patio was nice but we had a big party so ate inside. We tried just about everything on the menu. The sardines (not normally something I would get) were superb! Each dish was wonderfully delicious. The piri piri shrimp, lobster bisque, octopus. All fantastic. The seafood risotto was also amazing and rich with flavour and lots of seafood. The house red was something we also all gravitated towards and was rich and full bodied which paired nicely with the seafood. Would certainly recommend.
Came here for summerlicious! I loved being able to try various things on the menu. The octopus was good but it was just pretty plain. The veggies needed some seasoning. Salad was delicious, and so was the tartar. I loved the sardines and how they were paired. Yum!
