Reviews
Good place for some common Korean bar dishes. The food is decent. The place seems a little low on staff when I went, but the food was still served up pretty quickly. It also has a pretty nice atmosphere. The waitress was quick to respond to requests (spoons and bowls for the soup, additional water, getting the bill), but the waiter (who should be the one in charge of our table since he was the one to bring us in, seat us, and take our order) forgot about our requests twice. The restaurant also automatically calculates tip on top of taxes, so it’s something to watch out for.
Absolutely loved the food! We ordered the crispy corn balls and the half and half jokbal, and both were amazing. The jokbal was especially delicious. It is so tender, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the meal. The cocktails were also excellent and paired perfectly with the food. Would definitely come back!
Had a great time here! Portions are larger than you expect. Kanu explained the dishes and gave us great recommendations and came by quite often to check on us! We got grilled pork belly, beef tataki and half & half jokbal which was PLENTY of food for 2 people with leftover! Vibes were good and there was no rush for us to leave.
Had dinner at Ha Ban Tang and absolutely loved everything we ordered. The Salmon Tataki was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and a perfect way to start the meal. For the main course, we went with the Spicy Jokbal, and it was outstanding. The flavors were spot on, and it paired exceptionally well with a cold beer. Even the regular portion was surprisingly generous and easily enough to share. The entire meal felt like great value for money considering both the quality and portion sizes. The service was attentive and friendly, and the ambience had a lively, welcoming vibe that made the dining experience even better. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to!
Nice place with variety of Korean foods. Place was a bit dark. It’s nice for a romantic dinner maybe. However if you go with a group of people, you want to see what you’re eating. The god tasted good. Service was fast and if you go with a group of more than 4 people, it’s best to make a reservation in advance. We ordered quite a few dishes and they were all between 8-9 out of 10. Waow bun was the best choice. The rice ball was made nicely as well.
