Ali was amazing! It was my first time coming here with the girls for the half off meals Sundays and form start to finish, we had a great time! Ali was very attentive and he knew the menu front and back. Ordering was super easy, the food and clean up was quick. I really loved the spagetti limone and Sofia spritz the best.
Sofia always has the best food, drinks, and service. I hadn’t been in about a year, and everything was still excellent. It’s patio season, and they have the most comfortable, luxurious seating. It was raining, but we were completely covered, and later in the night the bar got busy and lively. This place is a 10/10. Everyone at our table loved the cocktails, especially the sweet and tart Appassionata, their passionfruit martini. If you prefer something spicy and tart, try the Calabrese. For food, the yellowtail crudo and Agnolotti al Funghi pasta are some favourites. Our server was kind, attentive, engaging, and quick to clear plates, even though it was extremely busy. The food and drinks are always exceptional here, the atmosphere is always fun. It’s always a good time at Sofia.
Love this spot, the bar is for kickin it with the boys, and the fine dining area is romantic with the wifey. Wether your looking for drinks or dinner, Sofia is always a great vibe. Oysters are always fresh and food and drinks 5 stars. Nishan is the best, he holds down the bar and makes your experience one of a kind. Have been going for many years, favorite place by far in Yorkville.
Excellent food. We had a preset menu for a conference dinner. Enjoyed the appetizers, wagyu beef, shrimp and a bunch of other sumptuous finger foods. The Tuscan Kale salad with Pear and walnuts was really delicious. Many had ordered the Taw Ahi Tuna as a starter and loved it. The Branzino (sea bass ) was also delicious. Also tried the wagyu beef and veal bolognese. The Tiramisu was a great finish. Atmosphere was excellent and service top notch. Location in the downtown core on Yorkville is easy to get to. Will definitely be going back to try other things on the menu.
If I could rate over 5 stars for service I ABSOLUTELY would. Brooke was phenomenal. I’ve dined at a lot of places in the area and have personally worked as a server myself, and Brooke’s service exceeded our groups expectations by MILES! She was so attentive and kind, making our visit extra special. The food was incredible, I would highly recommend the bolognese!!! From start to finish, our group had an amazing experience and we will definitely be back!
