We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Lucie and had a wonderful evening. We chose the tasting menu, and the food was beautifully presented, creative, and delicious from beginning to end. The wine pairing was excellent, and the service was warm, attentive, and professional. The ambiance was nice, although for such a special fine-dining experience, we expected it to feel a little more intimate and memorable. That said, the quality of the food, wine, and especially the service made our anniversary dinner a very special experience. We would definitely recommend Lucie for anyone who appreciates creative French cuisine and a thoughtfully prepared tasting menu. 🥂🥂
Such a hidden gem in downtown Toronto for modern chic fine dining. We were there to celebrate a birthday and we were very surprised by such a good experience. Food was excellent in quality, beautifully plated - I almost want to say they’re underpriced given the downtown location. The fois gras was very soft and nutty. The zucchini tart was surprisingly creative and it came so well together. The duck is superb - crispy on the skin and very tender and juicy on the inside. The pomme purée is such a highlight, silky, rich, creamy - they mastered this traditional dish perfectly. Staff are all very professional and nice. There were 4 staff who served our table, all with a different role. The bartender was fun and gave us really good recommendations. He customised my drink and it was just what I was looking for. The other mocktails we had were also very well made. The servers were able to answer our questions about the menu and walked me through in detail on the cheese list. As well, all plates served were described in detail to enrich out the dining experience.
Had such a lovely experience at Lucie. The space feels elegant yet relaxed, making it perfect for a date night or a special dinner with friends. The highlight for me was definitely the raw bar — everything tasted incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The oysters were briny and clean, and the seafood dishes were prepared with great attention to detail. Service was warm, attentive, and never rushed. Lucie strikes a nice balance between refined dining and a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for a Michelin-recognized spot in Toronto with excellent seafood and a great wine program, this is definitely worth a visit.
We came to Lucie to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had such an incredible experience from beginning to end. The atmosphere was elegant, intimate, and beautifully curated, and the service was truly exceptional. The staff were so kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout the evening. Whenever we had questions about the menu, the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and gave amazing suggestions and recommendations. We ordered the Duck, Tagliatelles, Trout Meunière, Zucchini Tart, Chocolate Rocher, and Mille-Feuille, and honestly every single dish was outstanding. Each plate was beautifully presented like a piece of art, and you could really see the creativity and attention to detail behind every dish. More importantly, we enjoyed every bit of every single plate. The flavours were perfectly balanced, refined, and absolutely delicious from start to finish. The desserts especially were stunning and unforgettable. Lucie delivers not only amazing food, but a full dining experience that feels thoughtful, luxurious, and memorable. Highly recommend for celebrations, date nights, or anyone looking for a Michelin-level dining experience in Toronto.
An absolutely unforgettable dining experience at Restaurant Lucie ✨ From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and attention to detail made the evening feel incredibly special. Every dish was beautifully presented, thoughtfully balanced, and packed with refined flavours — especially the scallop crudo, Argentinian red shrimp, foie gras, braised lamb shank, and lobster tagliolini, which were all exceptional.
