We don’t live in the Hamilton area, but every summer after cherry picking, we’d come to this restaurant for lunch. It’s been amazing every time! Every dish is delicious and unique in its own way. The service is thoughtful and thorough, and the view is amazing. If you love seafood, this is incredible! Still a lot of non seafood options that the whole family would enjoy. Definitely recommend making reservations as it tend to get busy, it’s so popular!
My husband and I celebrated our second anniversary at Lake House and wouldn't have chosen anywhere else. Melanie gave us exceptional service and the entrees were incredible. We had calamari to start - every sauce was absolutely delicious and was more than enough for the two of us. He had the pecan crusted salmon and I had the short rib. My God. I don't like fish in any capacity, but this was the first time in my life I enjoyed trying his (we have a rule that we'll always give things a try to get out of our comfort zone). My short rib fell apart with a fork, it was incredible. The portions were perfect to satisfy us. They offered us minis for our anniversary that were equally perfect. We came as a recommendation from our Airbnb host and she was absolutely on the money. It was great to be on the water but away from the hustle and bustle of the falls area. Thank you so much for helping to make this anniversary a wonderful one. Our highest compliments to all in the kitchen!
Absolutely loved our experience here! The food was outstanding, and the lakeside patio created the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing meal. A special shoutout to Kalvin, who provided exceptional service and guided us through some excellent menu choices. The paella was the highlight of the evening—flavorful, perfectly cooked, and memorable. Whether you're stopping by to unwind or celebrate something special, this place delivers on all fronts. We'll definitely be back!
Had a fantastic meal here for Sunday lunch. The location provided great views of the lake. It was busy but luckily we had reservations (which I highly suggest on a weekend). We were seating upstairs where it was a smaller dining room and quiet. The main level was a lot more busier and louder. I ordered a hummus and the fish tacos. Both were delicious! I definitely want to return and try the Paella one day.
We visited yesterday and had the most superb service from start to finish. From the hostess organizing our wait for a patio table to the team at the bar, everyone was so accommodating—especially when we decided to move inside to avoid the bugs. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, and they clearly work well supporting each other as a team. They seem well-managed and like they genuinely enjoy their work, which showed in the exceptional service we received. Isaiah was on point from start to finish, and the service was wonderfully complemented by Wyatt and Brandon. They provided truly outstanding service and went above and beyond for us. They were so genuine, and we were so appreciative of the care they took to make our meal special. The views and ambiance were incredible, and the food was just as good! We loved every single dish we had and would re-order them all: Shrimp Ceviche Tuna Tartare Burrata Board Fresh Mussels Great Canadian Burger Blackened Arctic Char Everything was delicious, fresh, and perfectly executed. Highly recommended. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
