I had the lunch special ayce. Absolutely LOVED the quality of the sushi. The fish tasted fresh and it literally melts in your mouth. On my quest to finding the best ayce places in Toronto, I think I found one that definitely hits the spot. The staff was friendly. They just seemed a lil confused when I asked them about gelatin in their desserts. Definitely worth it. Will be coming back with my friends.

My friend & I had dinner here on Canada Day and we had an overall great experience. Service was super friendly and attentive, atmosphere is beautiful, there were SO many food options & the quality well exceeded our expectations within AYCE standards. They have everything from sushi, to dim sum, salad, bbq, and more!! They have a large self-serve salad, snack, and dessert bar outside of the ipad you order from at your table. For a busy night our food came out relatively fast. Presentation was awesome, and sushi portions were reasonable. However, if you're ordering sides like fried chicken or noodle/rice dishes, be careful not to over-order because we thought the portions were quite large, especially the general tso's chicken. Our favorite sushis were salmon, white tuna, and eel. Deep fried scallops were surprisingly delicious & so was the duck sushi! They weren't gamey at all & between the two duck options I really liked the foie gras one. We tried a majority of the sushi items but these stood out the most. Items I'd avoid are the general tso's chicken (too large of a portion and mid tbh) & shrimp skewer (came with shell on and was way overcooked). They also serve strawberry mango bingsu for dessert which is awesome because how often do you find a buffet that has bingsu?! I was a bit weary of the reviews suggesting this place sucked but they must be under new ownership or management of some sort because everything from service to food was genuinely enjoyable. Highly recommend to book a reservation in advance on Google. Parking is validated as long as you park at the RioCan underground lot to the side of the building's main entrance.

We recently visited Ichiban AYCE and had a great experience. One of the biggest highlights is the variety of the menu. They offer a huge selection of sashimi, sushi, udon, dim sum, grilled items, and an impressive dessert section, so there is something for everyone. The quality of the food was surprisingly good for an all-you-can-eat restaurant. We especially enjoyed the torched sushi, beef steak, and beef ribs, which were well-marinated and flavorful. The sashimi was fresh, and dishes arrived quickly throughout our meal. What really sets this place apart is the interactive food stations. We loved being able to make our own bingsu, customize our salad, and wrap our own bao. The dessert area alone is worth saving room for. The restaurant was clean, staff were attentive, and the overall dining experience felt organized despite how busy it was. If you're looking for an AYCE spot with plenty of variety and a fun dining experience, Ichiban is definitely worth checking out. We would happily return.

Solid all-you-can-eat spot, with the premium lunch menu (especially on weekdays) being great value. I especially like how there's a lot of grilled seafood options that I don't always see (like grilled mackerel and salmon head), and how the sushi quality is pretty good for the price you pay. There's also an appetizer and dessert bar to add to the point and choose offerings. Overall, a good spot for a middle class ayce.

The quality and taste of the sushi were excellent. The overall variety of food was good as well. There was a salad bar, although the variety wasn’t great, it was fresh and the sauces tasted fine. The fried coconut dessert had a really unique and enjoyable flavor — definitely worth trying. They also had different kinds of ice cream which we didn’t try, but the mango jelly and mango yogurt were okay, nothing special. Overall, it was a good experience. It was $44 per person, and drinks were charged separately and had to be ordered additionally. The restaurant was spacious and clean, but the only downside for me was the service. The servers weren’t very patient or friendly — if you asked for something, it didn’t come with a pleasant attitude, and even when we thanked them they didn’t respond or acknowledge it. Service was definitely the weak point. In general, I would return for the food
