One of the things I liked most was that the flavours didn’t feel “heavy.” Everything you eat is high quality, but it doesn’t weigh you down instead, it makes you want to try more. The fact that all the dishes are fresh and prepared daily really makes the difference. The atmosphere also completes the experience; it’s modern yet welcoming. It’s neither too formal nor too casual. It’s an ideal place to go with friends and sit for a long time. The service was also quick and attentive.

To start off, the tofu puffs were so good. Very light and not greasy, also perfect crunch and at the same time soft. I also loved the snow peas, not tough to chew and great flavour. Restaurant atmosphere is pretty nice, and staff are kind as well. However, the orange chicken was so hard. We didn’t really enjoy that.. but everyone else was okay. I recommend

We usually go to the Dine & Dim once every couple months for dim sum. It’s not unusual to wait 10-20 minutes for a table. Showing up between 11:30-12 helps to avoid a line. Food is consistent. A few of my family’s favourites are: Har Gow, Siu Mai, Pan Fried shrimp and Chive dumplings, Deep fried shrimp salad dumplings. For a sweet finish we like to get the Steamed Egg Yolk Custard buns. You can order it when you are almost done your meal so it’s fresh. We usually find ordering 2 dishes per person to share plus a noodle dish is sufficient. They often add a tea charge for everyone sitting at the table. Let them know if you won’t be having any so you aren’t charged. You can save a little money if you pay cash (5%). Enjoy.

Great dim sum place with delicious and fresh food. The staff are friendly, lovely, and provide fast service. I went during the weekend and it was very crowded with a long lineup. Highly recommended, but make sure to allow extra time if you visit on holidays.😊😊

Dine & Dim sits right in Toronto’s East Chinatown stretch — Gerrard & Broadview — and they’ve done a wonderful job modernizing the classic dim sum experience while still keeping everything familiar and comforting. The Har Gow and Siu Mai were textbook perfect: delicate wrappers, juicy centres, no excess oil. The Turnip Cake came crisped on the outside with a soft, almost creamy interior — you could taste the radish instead of filler. Cheung Fun slid off the chopsticks like silk — glossy, light, and generously filled. The Char Siu Bao was pillowy and lightly sweet with a sticky, savoury pork centre. Spare Ribs had that peppery umami richness that lingers in the best way. But the Lobster Chow Mein absolutely stole the show — buttery lobster pieces over noodles with just enough crisp left under the sauce to give texture in every bite. This is a dish you could build your entire visit around: it’s THAT good. If you like dim sum that feels homey, not hurried, where quality matters more than speed, Dine & Dim is worth locking into your Toronto rotation. Pair it with a creamy Thai Iced Tea and you’ve got the perfect comforting weekend meal. Warmly recommended!
