Great place, for a bite. I am not a fan of pub food, but Sandtrap was great. 1/2 pint of draft beers 🍻 for $4.50 haven't seen that for a long time. The fish 🐟 sandwich was perfect, baked or grilled fish not the greasy (called beer battered) coated kind. Will be back again.
We thought we ordered a bit too much for just two people, but everything was so delicious that we ended up finishing every single bite. All of the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and nothing felt artificial at all, so even after eating a lot, the meal still felt light and not overwhelming.
As a local the Sandtrap is a staple. Consistent service, speedy food and all very well priced. A very standard bar and grille style menu with delicious wings and other such delights. The menu also has a great variety of entrees so there is really something for everyone. This time we had greasy cravings and the wings, poutine and onion rings hit the spot.
Great deals. Service was attentive. Nothing spectacular but it delivered on expectations. The mini nachos were a perfect size!
Last minute decision as we didn't fancy walking to the Old Town last night and it was situated around the corner from where we were staying. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Lovely neighbourhood vibe and atmosphere. We had the Wings and battered shrimp to start with which were both delicious. For my main I had the Fish and Chip whilst the other half had the crab cakes. Lovely portioned sizes and very tasty. We also shared a 1/2 litre of one of the local wineries wine. No long wait to be served either. An overall lovely experience! 😁
