We celebrated our anniversary and had a lovely evening. The food was delicious, the ambiance was great, and the views were amazing. Our waiter Wes was absolutely fantastic.
Mar’aa offers one of the most beautiful views in Toronto. Being on the 50th floor, the skyline and downtown city views are absolutely stunning and definitely the highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the price point. Our bill for three people was close to $400, and we only ordered two glasses of wine. I had the fish, which was well prepared and tasted good, but the portion size was surprisingly small for the price. The other two guests ordered steak, and both found it overly salty. Overall, you’re paying more for the view than for the food. I would consider coming back for a drink or an appetizer to enjoy the atmosphere and scenery, but I wouldn’t choose Mar’aa again for a full dinner. While the location and ambiance are impressive, the food quality and value simply didn’t justify the cost for us.
Had a wonderful evening at Mar’aa Yorkville! We came with two friends plus our 10-month-old, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating with the little one. One heads up for parents: they only have one high chair, so call ahead and reserve it if you’re bringing a baby. The views are absolutely immaculate — perched on the 51st floor, you get a sweeping panorama of Toronto that’s hard to beat, especially around sunset. Food-wise, the trio sampler to start was amazing, but the cheese rolls might’ve been the best app we ordered all night. Service was attentive and the whole atmosphere felt elevated without being stuffy. Definitely recommend!
We had a really good time here overall. Our waiter was super attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. The food was delicious, although we were disappointed that the manti was sold out when we visited. The restaurant being located on the 51st floor gives you beautiful views of the city, which definitely adds to the atmosphere. One thing the restaurant could improve on is managing the patio/photo area a bit better. There were quite a few people going out just to take pictures, using flashing camera lights and moving furniture around, which became pretty distracting during the meal. Aside from that, we enjoyed our experience and would come back.
I'd come here again because of one of the serves Chondelle. She is SUCH a vibe. I love her energy, she helped me and my friends take several pictures of us and hyped us up for every photo. Staff like her make the place feel so wholesome. The food here is also 10/10, and all the staff was extremely kind, helpful, and recommended great dishes. The rice is so nice and moist, the lamb is delicious, and the cheesy cauliflower was 10/10. Came here once and definitely coming back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaraunt!!
