I really enjoyed everything on the menu. The $2 oysters on Wednesday were great. The Caeser cocktail was done well! I highly recommend this place for a casual spot to eat.

While walking along Bloor West, we were drawn into Island Oyster. The dining room is intimate and inviting, anchored by a sleek, well-designed bar. Though we initially stopped in just for drinks, watching the shuckers work with such precision and professionalism convinced us to try the food. We started with the house Caesar. it was perfectly spicy, well-balanced, and full of flavour. A solid 9/10. The Oysters 🦪: We sampled the T’sou-ke and Effingham Fliptide varieties. Both were excellent choices for those who prefer a cleaner profile; they weren't overly briny and were incredibly easy to enjoy. The service was a highlight, the staff managed to be both highly professional and genuinely friendly. With great flavours and a welcoming atmosphere, this is a spot I’ll definitely be returning to soon.

Their oysters are definitely very fresh. They definitely have skillful staff shucking them, clean and tasty. Having said that they only have oysters from Canada, so it’s definitely a disappointment for me and my husband, as we love oysters from all over the world, especially, from Ireland. Wine lists are so so, not diverse enough, and very pricey for the quality they offer. They don’t really have a good menu for dinner at all, so after spending $250 over 22 oysters, tuna tartare and a bottle of wine, we had to order takeout from another place on our way home, which was a bummer. By the way, do look closely before you pay, because they changed us some oysters we never had/ordered.

Island Oysters is an absolute gem. The oysters are outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and very well priced. The drink selection is excellent and pairs perfectly with the menu. A special shout-out to our server Sean, who was incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely passionate. He took the time to explain where each oyster came from and walked us through the flavor profiles, which made the experience feel thoughtful and elevated rather than rushed. I really loved the atmosphere—intimate, relaxed, and stylish without being pretentious. It’s a perfect spot for a date night or a night out with your significant other. Will definitely be coming back.

Second time and the oysters $1.50 each plus depending, food drinks and dessert is so delicious. The service is quick and friendly. The pricing is reasonable. Strongly recommend . Gets busy so reservations is a must. Comfortable cozy atmosphere. 👌🏾🥂
