Lovely venue and I'm glad to have tried them! I chose their summerlicious lunch menu and my husband chose their regular lunch menu. Everything was well cooked and nicely seasoned. The portions were small (my octopus main had only one piece of octopus), and I was a little disappointed that the fig salad used dried figs instead of fresh figs, hence only 4 stars.
Came here for Summerlicious lunch and had a delicious 3 course meal. Had the fig salad to start, duck confit main and the seasonal summer dessert which was a fruity mousse. Others at my table ordered the grilled octopus and the choux pastry for dessert and they enjoyed their food too. Service was good, we were seated promptly when we arrived, our waters were always filled and we didn't have to wait long in between courses. Overall had a good time, would happily return again if I find myself in Toronto for a special occasion.
What an incredible experience! This was honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Toronto. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, elegant, timeless, and full of character. The live jazz creates the perfect ambiance and makes the whole evening feel extra special without being overwhelming. The seasonal menu is outstanding. I highly recommend the Espresso Martini, it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The duck with risotto was simply incredible, perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the filet mignon was just as impressive: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. From the food to the service and the overall atmosphere, everything exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a sophisticated restaurant with amazing food and a truly memorable dining experience, this is a place you shouldn’t miss. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Had an amazing experience at Convivium in Toronto. From the hostess, to the server, to the manager, the service was exceptional from start to finish. The food was truly second to none. The salmon was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the chicken breast was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. The salmon cream with spinach was completely out of this world. The fig salad was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. And to top it all off, the crème brûlée was hands down the best I have ever had. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for incredible food and outstanding service in Toronto.
I went here for my birthday and had an amazing time. We went during their brunch hours (ends at 3pm) and took advantage of the 2-course menu for $35. We also stayed long enough for their happy hours (3 to 6pm- I think). The discounted lunch and happy hours is definitely worth it and I highly recommend cost-wise. The food was 10/10. My friends had the caesar salad and I had the fig salad (i think that’s what it’s called). For main, I had the pesto pasta and my friends had the salmon. All the dishes were delicious and fresh. Given that it was my birthday, they also gave us a complimentary caviar with the mini pancakes, which was a nice touch and I truly appreciated that. The only downside (and reason I didn’t give 5 stars) was the drinks menu. Their happy hour menu doesn’t have mocktails, so one of my friends couldn’t take advantage of that and had to purchase from the regular menu which was a little pricey for us. Our reservation was on a saturday at 2:30pm and the place was super quiet, with chill music playing in the background. This would be ideal for a date. The customer service was excellent as well. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and overall welcoming. Great experience, highly recommend and I’ll definitely go back.
