The Urban Wellness team has been a life-line for me for several years now. Excellent acupuncture and massage. It is an essential part of my support system through the complicated medical and overall life challenges.after treatment, I leave calm, grounded, and my nervous system starts to feel ok again. Always amazing. A true sanctuary from the unpredictable days. Highly recommended. I truly feel welcome there each day and highly personalized care by highly knowledgeable and experienced practitioners.

Ingrid is a very skilled and thoughtful acupuncturist! I appreciate how much time she takes to listen and ask clarifying questions. Treatments always have me feeling both more grounded and lighter/clearer in my thoughts. I highly recommend her gua sha facial treatment, it feels amazing. 💗

I’ve been doing somatic movement sessions with Indu at Urban Wellness for almost a year now and it has been one of the best things I’ve ever tried for my chronic pain and health in general. I’ve tried many, many, many different types of treatments over the years, probably everything you can imagine. Very little has made a meaningful difference, let alone something non pharmaceutical. Somatic movement with Indu is one of the only things that consistently gets me to a point where my pain is not unbearable and taking over. At the end of the sessions I’m often left wondering how such a thing is possible and how abnormal it is for me to feel that calm and comfortable. I leave feeling more regulated, more connected to my body, and more hopeful and happy. Indu creates such a safe, supportive space, and her approach is gentle but powerful. When talking about my sessions with other people I always say how nice it is to be in such a nonjudgmental environment. Many people with chronic pain or illness probably relate to being told endlessly to push yourself to exercise or do physiotherapy, both of which can feel impossible and too intense, atleast for me. This leads to very minimal or no movement at all and then feeling frustrated with that and it’s an endless cycle. From my very first appointment I’ve said how amazing it is to have been able to do everything lying down with the most gentle movements, but still feeling like my muscles are being used or worked out, and in a way that doesn’t leave me feeling worse. Thank you Indu and Urban Wellness =)
