Reviews
Jaybird is a great studio. Friendly staff, immaculately clean spaces and excellent instructors. Safety is a priority and machines are in great condition. The atmosphere is very calming and the reformer classes give quick results. Love Jaybird!
Rayisa and Breanne was an excellent Pilates instructor. Both of them explained every movement clearly, paid attention to everyone's form, and created a welcoming, encouraging atmosphere. The class was enjoyable, well-paced, and suitable for different fitness levels. I left feeling stronger and more confident. Highly recommend!
Ok here is a detailed report on Jaybird I did a 14 day intro class and I have to say this place beats any place in Toronto! I went to many studios such as sweat and tonic and Solis and this is the only place I return to and purchased a membership. Here is why I am skinny I eat very healthy but I don’t work out I have a flat tummy some definition but my legs arms back is basically jello and I have bad posture I can’t work out for the life of me I can’t do a squat nothing so I walked in thinking ok I won’t come back but no these instructors will go above and beyond for you they create such a comfortable space for you to really learn your body and mindful breathing good posture and I’m 10 days in I noticed my core looks amazing feels strong I have the best posture and I can do exercises like squats lunges rdls with proper form where I feel it in my glutes and not in my knees my arms omg never looked better my glutes are on fire and I take a class everyday and it works out every part of your body I look and feel amazing whereas at Solis I felt nothing the instructor was a mean girl and she injured me both of my legs I wish I was over exaggerating are bruised on both sides I didn’t even break out a sweat and it was the biggest waste of my time and sweat and tonic is so full like and loud it was so uncomfortable to work out in here the classes are smaller the light are dim candlelight it smells like an amazing essential oil and when u walk into class you leave feeling so amazing life get so busy so being able to just disconnect from the world and take that time for yourself is such a treat I feel so pampered everytime I come here and I don’t even realize the time I blink and we are done the workout I always break a sweat and the way my body burns for every exercise like I will not even work out at home this is so much more worth it because the instructors correct my form I feel the improvements and this is worth every dollar spend My fav instructors are Cassandra if you want ur whole body to hurt and Chloe if you want to ruin ur booty the booty class she did omg I wish they had that more often Amanda she is the best on the reformer and Annette I didn’t get the pleasure of meeting all the instructors but I know they are just as amazing and yeah the only downfall is occasionally a heterosexual man will show up like 1 time in a blood moon and huff and puff and ruin the peaceful vibes but other then that this is the only studio in Toronto worth your money and you will see body improvements my arms legs and tummy are so toned I am shook 10/10
What a great experience. Joshua was amazing. Very helpful, inclusive, knew everyone’s names even though half the class was new to the studio. Making sure to offer a beginners guide before class starts is an amazing service I’ve been told to not join classes at other studios if you’re newer to Pilates, this was such a perfect alternative to that. I genuinely had the best time. The cold towel at the end was also a great touch especially after an infrared burn class. No notes for Joshua he is incredible. One complaint, I didn’t know how/where to refill my water bottle. Not sure if there is a fountain there but there should be a water station.
Super convenient location, directly connected to the Bay Station underground at 110 Bloor. The moment you walk in, the studio feels calm and relaxing. They also have the loveliest signature scent—I honestly wish I knew what perfume it was so I could have it at home. Booking classes is really easy, whether you’re using ClassPass or one of their own membership options, and it’s just as simple to make changes when needed. The instructors are incredibly attentive and genuinely invested in your personal fitness goals. They’re especially great at making thoughtful modifications if you’re dealing with an injury, which makes the experience feel both supportive and safe.
