Reviews
Okay first I will say I was pretty blown away by my experience (or potential of the experience). There’s not much pictures available online when doing research but after visiting I understand why no one has a phone on them. This was truly a unique and wonderful experience. My favourite this was it was not crowded at all. Just perfect - no one is in anyone’s way, you barely notice anyone else. If they start letting more people in/crowding they will ruin what is best about this place. I absolutely loved the outdoor pool and doing the cycles. I love the dark and candle atmosphere and ambience. Now the reason for my 3 star review. This is because the steam room was baaarely warm. To do the hot-cold cycles you need properly warm up your body in order to do cold plunge. But I just never felt there with the steam room it was just too cold. Same with sauna. Another huge red flag is I also noticed the ceiling in the steam room is just plain plaster and starting to peel and crack due to all the moisture so I don’t know if that’s safe. Should that not be tile… why are we breathing steamy plaster air…? And they just built this place… so that’s a bit of a red flag and looks very unsafe as it looks like it can all crash down on you.. and also breathing in toxic fumes..? And finally during massage which was fantastic but very short… why is it only like 40 min lol. I was quite cold during entire massage which also interfered with comfort and relaxation. Also if there was a deep tissue option that would be wonderful too. I think they have a little work to do but it would make a world of improvement and truly be perfect.
Everything from start to finish is perfectly designed to have the ultimate relaxing and rejuvenating experience. You will feel like a new person after a 90 minute visit. The staff are all very friendly, informative and professional. The change rooms are well stocked with anything you might have forgotten. What a gem of a place! I will definitely be back
I visited on my own and wasn't sure what to expect, but I ended up loving every minute of it. The baths were amazing, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the staff were all so kind and welcoming. Since I went on a weekday, it was quiet and relaxing, which made the experience even better. Sometimes you need a break from everyday life, and this was exactly that for me. Every detail of the space is beautiful and thoughtfully designed. I honestly didn't want to leave and I'm already looking forward to coming back.
I absolutely loved my experience at Aire Ancient Baths! It was such a relaxing and peaceful place from start to finish. The baths were exactly as described during our tour, and everything met our expectations. The entire facility was very clean, beautifully maintained, and had a calming atmosphere. The staff was professional, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. My only complaint was that the price felt a bit high for what we received. While the experience was lovely, I’m not sure it fully matched the cost. I also found that the robes provided ran small — I wear a size XL in women’s clothing, and the robes seemed better suited for someone who wears a medium or smaller. More inclusive sizing would definitely improve the experience. Overall, it was a wonderful and rejuvenating visit, and I’m glad we went!
Incredible place, I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Our experience included relaxing hydrotherapy exploring different temperature pools, cold plunge, salt scrub, wet/dry saunas, and finished with a RMT massage. The space is bigger than expected and absolutely impeccable. It truly felt like we were transported to ancient Spain. This is my favorite new spa spot in Toronto - and I’ve been to many!
