The visual identity of the space is immaculate if you appreciate an edgy, counter-culture aesthetic. It’s got that dark, neon-tinged, underground energy where the walls feel like they have stories to tell. The live music curation here is exceptional; they consistently book local bands and artists who actually play with grit, distortion, and genuine passion. You don't come here to sit quietly and pose; you come to feel the bass vibrating through the floorboards and lose yourself in the crowd. The bar workflow is fast and straightforward. They serve cold beer, heavy pours & honest drinks without any pretension or slow, over-complicated mixology queues. The crowd is diverse, fiercely expressive & entirely authentic - zero gatekeeping, just pure collective energy. It is an essential, fiercely independent staple of Toronto's nightlife for anyone who wants their music loud, their nights long & their spaces packed with real character.
Very first time I tried the jalapeño poppers and the Cody burger and they were both spectacular!
Not a single place like it in the area! It’s like vacation while at home. Like being in a friend’s basement while also being somewhere completely new and exciting, where you never know what you’ll experience. Thursday night karaoke’s with DJ Ed are absolute the tops. Any song you can think of, great crowd of varied talents - everyone’s got their signature song. Food is super decent too. 5/5, no notes.
