We had an amazing dining experience at The Octagon. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was elegant and perfect for a special occasion, and every detail made the evening memorable. A special thank you to our servers, Paul and Dimitri, who were friendly, professional, and attentive. They made us feel very welcome and provided outstanding service. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended
Service goes above and beyond. Very attentive and friendly staff. Food is amazing. Love their garlic bread. The caesar salad made fresh at your table side is the best. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection. It was our anniversary and they surprised with an ice cream dessert with a wee candle and sign.
Came here for dinner and had an awesome experience. I got the ribeye steak cooked medium well and it was great. They actually make the Caesar salad right in front of you at the table, which was a cool touch, and it tasted pretty good. For the side, their French fries are cut like medallions, honestly I'm normally not a fan of that style, but these were actually very satisfying. But the real stars of the show were definitely the mushrooms and the garlic bread. Seriously, I would come back just to eat those two things again. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Prices were a little higher than what I’m usually used to paying, but I guess that’s to be expected since it's an upscale place. Definately worth a try!
Went to Octogon for the first time for my birthday. The food was great and the service was top notch. The dinner was phenomenal. We had the garlic bread (so good!), a Cesar salad, escargot, the filet Mignon, the garlic mashed potatoes, and the ribs with a side of rice, and a chocolate lava cake and scoop of vanilla ice cream for a birthday sweet treat! The pickles were delicious too and I am not the biggest pickle person. This is definitely a Thornhill staple you must visit. A great place for date night or to celebrate a joyous occasion.
It feels like walking into a movie set coming through those doors and getting to our table. The whole place is unreal where you feel like this is where Al Pacino eats and Tony DeVito walks past you with a smile. The waiters are dressed in fine suits and carefully prep fresh caesar salad in front of you. Cocktail shrimps are gigantic. That slice of octagon cut meat is perfection. Desserts are excellent. As you can tell this is above my price range so we have no shame tagging along our uncles and wash dishes for the next month.
