If you are looking for a cute and authentic Irish pub, you have found it. This place has great food, music, atmosphere and service all rolled up in one. We came early so it was nice and quiet but as later lunch time came in it does get a little noisy. The corned beef with mash potatoes and cabbage was very savoury. Chicken wings breaded and non breaded were also great and make sure to order their fries. Their new buttermilk chicken sandwich were crispy yet juicy in the inside. I am sure whatever you order, it will be amazing.
We were a small party and got seated right away, which was lucky as they don't take reservations in their busy season (Jul/Aug). The service was quick, efficient, and friendly, with great recommendations from staff. All food and drinks were delicious. Items we had but didn't get pictures of include the White Wine Mussels and the Duck Sliders. FYI, the sauce from the mussels was excellent for dipping fries!
We absolutely loved this spot, and it was a total home run when we were here on vacation! If you are visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake and find yourself suddenly overwhelmed by all the sophisticated wine tasting and matching cheese boards, this place is the perfect cure. It is a wonderfully authentic Irish pub with a fantastic, lively atmosphere that makes you feel like you walked across the Atlantic instead of just down the street. Everything about our visit was great, but the food is what really stole the show. We ordered the classic fish and chips, which was perfectly crispy and delicious, but the absolute highlight was the "Irish Experience" sampler platter. It is perfect for anyone who suffers from ordering FOMO because you get three absolute staples of Irish fare all on one plate. Eating it makes you feel like you've achieved peak efficiency in traditional comfort food. To top it all off, they had fantastic live entertainment playing while we were there, which really elevated the whole night and kept the energy amazing. The service was fast and incredibly friendly, and the pints were poured perfectly. It has all the warmth of a neighborhood pub with top-tier food. Whether you are looking for an incredible meal or just need a lively spot to escape the wine country vibe for a bit, this place is highly recommended!
A quaint Irish pub. It had a very Irish feel, dark, quaint and small. We went during lunch and it was crowded. We were seated within 10 minutes. Our server was nice and polite. We ordered drinks and our meals. We got traditional Irish meals; corned beef and cabbage and shepherds pie. Both were very good. The portions are large, you could share easily. They do have a small bar to sit at. We were recommended this place and it was worth it.
The hospitality and customer service at the Irish Harp Pub was excellent! There was live music Soul Jam band their music was beautiful! Everyone from the staff was professional and friendly! ….and the food soooo delicious and fresh! We celebrated Mother’s Day, on that Sunday, we had the Fish Trout rice with steam vegetables, the Fish and Chips, and the tasty sticky toffee pudding, wow sooo good homemade Looking forward to visit again. Such a memorable experience in the heart of Niagara-On-The-Lake.
