Was a great meal. But was sort of an odd interaction with the bartender. Idk.. maybe I looked like a "poor customer" .. but just sort of felt shuffled in and out. Regardless, it was a very beautiful place and the food was amazing. Drinks great. Prices great also.
I so wish we could come dine here again! The food here is phenomenal!! This isn't your typical American fare. Everything is elevated. The menu is much more extensive than we imagined. Good portion sizes, fait pricing, great presentation, cooked perfectly, outstanding taste. Wow. We had the goat cheese pizza, the chicken wings and the fish tacos. I wish I could try everything on the menu! Don't walk, run. Ps, The decor is beautiful weather you sit on the first or second floor.
We’ve gone to the Grist for dinner a few times. This time we went for lunch for a group of four and were seated right away as we arrived before 12 noon. By the time we left, the place was packed. Food has always been delicious, great ambiance, great service, friendly staff. Instead of choosing it ourselves, we asked our server to surprise us with the most popular beer samplers, and we liked them, but forgot to take pictures of the beers, just the food.
Hidden gem alert! We came here after seeing a social media post about their nachos, and it’s definitely worth checking out. They’ve got rotating draft beers, stone oven pizza, and the service is consistently great. I’ve been twice now, first time for the nachos, second time to explore the rest of the menu. While the nachos are massive and great for sharing, I’d actually skip them next time and go straight for the other dishes. That’s where this place really shines.
We decided to stop by The Grist for lunch while visiting the area. We hadn't heard much prior to going, but it was bustling and clearly very popular. We had to wait a bit to be seated. The restaurant is spacious and nicely decorated. We had some pizza, Brussels sprouts, and beer, which were good. They also have a kids' menu. Service was friendly and we had a nice meal. Seems like a good place for a date or group get together.
